I've known Christ for almost 12 years. Since receiving Salvation, my life has been one incredible blessing after another (John 1:16). I journal regularly and still, my thoughts and pen can not keep up with Him. Blogging is so natural for me. It also affords me the chance to click on this blog when I need to remember HIS faithfulness. I want those who doubt to know that God is good and His goodness is for all. I'm not His favorite, though I like to tease my friends and family by saying that I am. I oftentimes sign my letters and cards, ("Neicy! The one whom Jesus loves.) I may not be His favorite, but I am His Princess Bride and have been documenting my journey on that (blog) as well. I hope you delight in something I've shared and see that HE rewards those who seek Him with their whole hearts. (Read Hebrews 11:6).

Starbucks PRAISE

It's never about me. After leaving my daughters house, I was trying to figure out where could I meet my son. We had an appointment but we were going to meet halfway, so I suggested the Starbucks. I know that he loves their coffee…

I gave him my credit card and told him to purchase whatever he wanted… And then I went to the restroom to powder my nose. LOL I knew that there was a penny in there somewhere with my name on it. As I came out, and approach my son, I told him just that. And I started bragging on my King and...Lo and behold, there was a penny on the floor under the register.

I'm such a little kid, as I yelled "I told you so!" And then looked again, and there was another one just a little to the right. I held everyone's attention and then unbeknownst to me, I yelled out, "Does anyone need prayer? God answers my prayers! Does anyone need prayer!?"

There were about 12 or so people in the store  and a woman came up to me saying that she needed prayer. She first asked if I was a prayer warrior or an evangelist… And I said both! Then she asked, "What church do you attend?" I said, "Grace Brethren of Owings, Maryland."

She was standing beside the sugar and cream both, and I asked that she move over to the left as to not block anyone's path. I asked her a few personal questions, and then gave her a little of my testimony as her prayer request was something that God delivered me from. And then, we prayed, in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit! I am sure people were watching.  I'm sure others needed prayer also, but she was bold enough to admit it! We prayed God's Words back to Him, and we prayed with great expectation that He was listening and He will answer! To  God be the glory because Alex didn't need Starbucks but Paula needed PRAYER!

Lord I PRAISE YOU for making me #BOLD!

Feeling Restless PRAISE

I'm driving down the street, telling God how I want to share the love of Christ with someone and decided to stop at Walmart on my way to an appt. When I picked my parking space, the woman beside me was sitting in her truck, looking at me.

I got out of the car, looked at her and said "You look like you want to pray."

She let out a deep sigh and said "I got so much stuff going on."

I invited her to sit in my car and she shared her burdens with me. She's a Christian but hasn't been going to church lately.  She admitted to not reading the bible or praying...

She just needed to be reminded what God has promised her and how to activate her faith.

She said I was a blessing and I said "the Lord led me right to you!"
I shared the importance of fellowship and PRAYER!

Father I praise You and I thank You for using me ASAP. You're timing is always perfect.

Ephesians 3:20 PRAISE

Caroline sent me an e-mail and asked me to join her in a prayer.  She specifically asked for Ephesians 3:20.  I said let's set our alarm and pray daily at 3:20 pm.  OH YES GOD DID ANWER OUR PRAYER!

He is #able!

Last Prayer Walk Praise

This morning, I thought it would be raining and was planning in my head what to do.  I knew that I was going to take my hat to Jessica, if she wanted it.  After walking daddy to his car, I gave Chet a greeting card to thank him for his kindness and then I began my last prayer walk in Akron!  HOW Faithful it GOD!?  I can't help but PRAISE HIM!!!
First thing this morning, I saw Mary Lee.  I hugged her and gave her my number.  I told her that I love to pray and that I’m only a prayer away!  She said that she was going to tell her sister about me and forgot.  She said, “That day that I saw you, you really blessed me.”  I told her the other day, I saw another woman with the LIGHT of Christ surrounding her.”

I walked my usual route and felt the Holy Spirit telling me to go into the furniture store.  Each time I walked passed it, I quietly wondered why it was open so early.  ______ was inside and I told him that I was on a prayer walk.  He said that he was blessed and didn’t need prayer.  I then pried, and he changed his mind.  He asked that I pray for his health.  He then went on to say for the strength to stop smoking.  I told him about the POWER of the Holy Spirit and how he was not going to be able to do it on his own.  He was a Catholic but only the God knows if he has a personal relationship with our Savior and solely depends on the Spirit for strength.  I told him that we can’t, but GOD can! He was grateful for our talk and shook my hand.

I met Mariah, a 26 year old mom of a 2 year old with NO Prayer needs.  She was busy setting up the store, so I gave her a gospel track and asked if she could read it later.  While paying for my food, I pried and told her that I found that hard to believe that she had not one prayer need.  She said, “Life’s good.  I’m happy right now!”  I said, “When I was 26, I felt  that way also, but happiness is not continuous and they’ll surely come a time when things aren’t good.”  After eating half of my sandwich, I went to tell her that the coffee was the worst that I’d ever had and that I don’t think God sent me there to get coffee.  I asked her if anyone had ever shared their faith with her and she admitted that she was raised Catholic and that her parents forced religion on her.  She went on to say that she’d do it on her own terms.  I told her that she is being given that chance now and how the Lord sent me to talk with her.  I said to forget that “religion” that was forced on you way back then and to give GOD another chance.  “Having a relationship with Christ is not forced, but free will.”  After talking a little more, and also sharing how she could start praying God's will for her daughter, she smiled and said what’s your name again? Then shook my hand and said, “Thank You.”

Walking back, I prayed with Autumn.  A woman at the bus stop on the phone with her fiancĂ© and struggling with smoking.  She put him on hold while we prayed, and I was weeping during our prayer.  God told me to tell her that she would get COPD if she didn’t stop and she said, “My grandmother has it and told me the same thing. This ain’t nothing BUT GOD!”  I prayed for her health and her upcoming marriage also.

I was singing a song that I (made up) to the Lord and saw a woman by the dealership door.  I was not going to talk with her and the Spirit told me to.  I asked if she needed prayer and she did.  NOTHING BUT THE LORD at work!  GOD is AWESOME.  Her prayer was that the “struggle she had” would be given to the Lord and that she would not pick it back up.  She was so grateful.  It was incredible to be used by God in Sonia’s time of need!

Lastly, once again, I was not going to talk to him and the Spirit told me to.  Quantrez was raking the grass and I called out to him twice.  He was wearing his earbuds and had his back to me.  I thought since he didn’t respond, “Oh well.  I tried.”  The Holy Spirit told me to walk around the sidewalk to the other side and speak with him.  He was a 16 year old Christian and I asked him what was he doing with his faith.  He shrugged his shoulders.  I talked with him for quite awhile about things to do for God’s Kingdom and how he was not too young to make a difference in this community and in the lives of his friends.  He said, “Thank you ma’am.”  I told him not to be shy or afraid.  I told him to ask the Lord for strength each day and it will be given to him.

LORD it's YOUR Spirit and so not me.  I want to sleep in and have some time to do absolutely nothing.  BUT then, a new day comes and we are at it once again....walking and talking and seeking the lost.  HELP ME!  Day after day, help me to do Your will and not allow me to have my way.  I only want what YOU want for me.  In Jesus' name! Amen!

Brain Freeze PRAISE

I’m walking through the Walmart just getting a few things and wondering how the Lord was going to use me today.  Just after getting my greeting cards, I turned the corner and paused, “trying to figure out what’s next.”  That’s when 79 year old Jerry looked at me and said, “We both have a brain freeze.”  I laughed and we started talking about a few items that we’d already had.  It went on from there.  Sweetest fellowship in deed! He said that he was going to thank the GOOD Lord for me tonight when he said his prayers and how he wished that there were more people like me.  I cried.  I told him that God’s using us both to tell others about Him.  We talked about prayer and God’s grace.  Jerry said, sadly “Some will discover that their names aren’t written in His Book.”  He, with joy shared some of his childhood memories about his parents and church.  When he was 12, he’d met Judy and used to see her every summer for youth stuff.  She used to hug him with such love and warmth and he’d often wondered how she was doing.  He said I reminded him of Judy.  I smiled and asked if I could hug him.  The hug felt like a family reunion.  Jerry was so touched.  He was so tenderhearted and thirsty for some good old Christian fellowship.  God planned our encounter long ago.  Jerry said to tell my parents that they did a good job with me.  I asked for another hug and told him that I loved him.  He said, “I love you too Denise.”  Just look at GOD! To God be the glory.  Jerry had a list of health issues but our God’s grace was surely sufficient for him as he was walking and talking about the things of the Lord and it was so evident that he’s not ashamed of the gospel! I am certain that people walking by heard us PRAISING Him!

Sisters In The Faith PRAISE

Yesterday was amazing! I had the most incredible fellowship with Maxine. We met only seven days prior. We were in the grocery store, and it was indeed a divine appointment. Yesterday's time together was sweet and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. We shared our lives and discovered we had many similarities. We repeatedly shared the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord and what He did in the past, and has done thus far. She shared her amazing testimony and sang some old hyms. We prayed together believing God for more miracles. We prayed asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit Power in a mighty way! We prayed for friends and family as well as church leaders. We were crying out, being completely transparent and praying scriptures over one another, simultaneously, claiming Isaiah, Psalms, Philippians, and Romans. The Holy Spirit was undoubtedly in the midst!

Father God Thank You!!!

After my prayer walk today, I spoke with Kaha! Lord You Reign. She and I can talk about Your goodness all day long, one praise after another. John 1:16 is true… From the fullness of Your grace, we have all received one beautiful blessing after another!

Lord I absolutely love and feed off of Christians who love You just as much as I do. I love saints that have a passion for You, Your Word and what You want to do through Your people!  We had a sweet time of fellowship via our cells, and I thank You for cell phones. Thank You for providing technology that is used for good! Thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites and media links that feed us spiritually in addition to Your Holy Scriptures. thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites, posts and links that feed us spiritually, in addition to Your Holy Scriptures.

Father God I PRAISE YOU that I still want more…I'm still thirsty and I'm still hungry for YOUR truth, wisdom and understanding!   GROW me in the knowledge of Your character! My heartfelt prayer is that the Holy Spirit will help me cultivate and maintain this fervor, day after day, after day! In Jesus' name, amen!

Bus Ticket PRAISE

This AMAZING BEAUTIFUL MORING, HE WAS FAITHFUL ONCE AGAIN!  I was hot and sweaty and guess what?  It’s not about me.  You may not know this, but I have “OCD.”  There are certain things that “REALLY bother me.”  God is funny and still uses me despite my quirks.  I love how HE loves!

This morning I prayed with a woman at McDonald’s. She wasn’t feeling well and was seating behind me while waiting on the cab.  I also prayed with the cashier concerning her 5-year-old daughter who is blind in one eye.  She knows the Lord.  Next, I met 22-year-old Matthew at the bus stop and long story short…so yummy…he’s drug free for the past 90 days.  He recently started going to church and a treatment and a drug program.  He was looking eye to eye with me as I shared Christ with him.

Just before him, I was walking and saw this woman coming in my direction.  I absolutely knew that she was a believer.  I asked if she had anything on her heart that I could pray for and she said, “I’m a Christian too. I’m on my way to testify in a criminal hearing and I’d like to pray for the Holy Spirit to speak through me.”  We prayed and then before letting her hand go, she prayed for me and then starting thanking God that He was using me to walk up to strangers asking if they’d like to pray.

The last yummy story is way long as we talked for a long time. NOTHING BUT GOD!  I prayed, and HE is so faithful to hear me!  I can’t remember it all because it was the HOLY SPIRIT! I saw this couple to my left as I was walking up the street, and I started to go over to them and didn’t.  I continued walking up the right side of the street and as I turned around, I said, “God if they are still there, I’ll go and talk with them.”  It had to be at least 20 min or so later and there they were, still sitting on the bench.  I walked over and explained that I’d seen them earlier and how God told me to come and speak with them.  I asked if they had any prayer needs and they did.  A’s grandma had passed, and they came down for her funeral.  They had no money to get back home.  God used me to bless them with bus tickets back to ___________ and A could not stop crying.  While ordering the tickets on line, she then cried again and asked if I could also pray that God would help her get her kids back.  I began telling them about the GOD I serve and how HE is able.

They both showed me their pocket New Testaments and said how they were just reading them earlier.  As we talked more and more, I could discern that they weren't “Spiritually mature” and not yet “fully Believing” in our GOD.  I shared how many read the bible, may or may not attend church but HOW Christians are to have a personal RELATIONSHIP with the Savior and not just going through the motions of reading.  I shared that as HIS children, we can ask the HOLY Spirit to explain it and help us to live it out.  C went on to ask, “I just don’t get why we keep arguing every day.  What are we missing?”  I told him that it was the flesh not fully surrendering to God’s will.

I shared scriptures from James, Galatians, Proverbs and Isaiah.  It was a sweet and honest time of exhorting and encouraging.  We had nothing, but time and they were completely open to me speaking hard truth into their lives.  I shared some of my struggles as did they. It was so incredible to be right where GOD sent me.  C said that his own mother wouldn’t help him and goes to church every Sunday and here, a perfect stranger is helping him.  I told him, “First, we are not to judge.  Only God judges the motives of our hearts.  Forgive your mom and pray for her.  Secondly, don’t give me any credit, as this is God meeting your needs through me as I listen in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.”
I told them about the sheep knowing the Father’s voice.  We held hands and prayed.

My Back Itch --- PRAISE...Lol

A brief encounter and a lasting impression:

I was walking and needed to scratch my back, so I crossed the street and leaned against a pole. LOL

Then I looked in this restaurant window and saw some women talking. So I walked in and asked if they were having a prayer meeting.
They were not, and looked at me rather strangely.
I smiled and asked, "What's wrong with prayer?"
One of the girls, sarcastically looked at me and said, "Nothing, you want to pray go ahead and pray and pointed to the empty chair!"
I asked if she was a believer, she said, "Yes but I don't like to pray in public."
I sat down, prayed for us, giving glory to God for brand new day!  I thanked Him for His mercy, His grace and His Son. Then I prayed for the public servants, the senior citizens and then kids that may be out playing later, as today is going to be another heatwave day. Lastly I prayed for them, saying, "Lord I don't know these women but you do. And I lift their unspoken needs up to you."

I prayed in the name of Jesus, right there in the restaurant with 5 strangers. And after saying, Amen, I looked up and the waiter was standing there with his head bowed wearing a cross.

Heading back to dad's, I encountered a man named Jim. He was not interested in the Gospel. He was bitter because he said that God does not answer his prayers. He said life sucks and then you die. His heart was too hard for a conversation. I told him that I'd be praying for him. I backed away, stood a few feet from him, and as he was lighting his cigarette, I started praying! He could hear me and after, I said, "I love you Jim!"
