I've known Christ for almost 12 years. Since receiving Salvation, my life has been one incredible blessing after another (John 1:16). I journal regularly and still, my thoughts and pen can not keep up with Him. Blogging is so natural for me. It also affords me the chance to click on this blog when I need to remember HIS faithfulness. I want those who doubt to know that God is good and His goodness is for all. I'm not His favorite, though I like to tease my friends and family by saying that I am. I oftentimes sign my letters and cards, ("Neicy! The one whom Jesus loves.) I may not be His favorite, but I am His Princess Bride and have been documenting my journey on that (blog) as well. I hope you delight in something I've shared and see that HE rewards those who seek Him with their whole hearts. (Read Hebrews 11:6).

Various Petitions

Father You know that I have not been updating this blog as much as I used to and with Siri's help, I've been using the notes on my phone to document this journey.  Thanks to "her" typing skills, I have my prayer section, my Barnabas section, gratitude section, LOL section, my ministry section, and the list goes on...

So for this post, I just wanted to cut and paste some prayer request from me and others as we LOOK TO YOU, THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN! May one, just one person read and be encouraged and pray in agreement. May someone happen upon this blog and wonder; "Who is this God she's praying to?" Abba, You are still in pursuit of lost souls and this world is out of control....pride, greed, deceit, sexual immorality, rebellion, addictions, idolatry, false conversions...sin, sin and more sin...and so much more.....

PRAISE BE TO GOD WHO GAVE US JESUS and a way of escape.  We do not at all talk about the JUDGEMENT of God which is to come, and without Christ, it is inescapable....no money, power, status, beauty, bribe, or possessions is going to save the soul who rejects Jesus as Lord!

Wrote this one today petition today as a reminder:

Beloved, when you forget...I AM! When life seems overwhelming, when your prayers seem long suffering, when the noise in this world is on its highest volume, when the news gets worse by the day, come what may ... I AM the One who will strengthen you, who will guide you, who will remind you, who will walk with you and talk with you. I AM the One who holds the answers. I AM the Way, the Truth and the Life/Light! I AM The One who gives endurance, the one who strengthens you when you are weak, the One who collects your tears, your biggest ENCOURAGER, the One who loved you first. The One who sent His only begotten Son to Calvary’s Cross so that you could have life and have it abundantly… The One who forgave every #sin, past present and future. I AM the One who will reward your obedience. The One who remains Faithful, even when you don’t! I AM the One who heals, hears, restores and cares! I AM the Only One who makes #all things new! I AM the One who sought you and bought You! I AM He who called you out of darkness! I AM the One who will take your ordinary life and bless it beyond measure! If you follow ME, hold to My truths and walk by faith, I AM the One who will return for you and bring you to the eternal home that I have promised to all who #believe! I AM HE!

The ones below are in no particular order:

Abba the number of infections have increased drastically… Many new and harsh restrictions have been implemented. Many are afraid, and so many more are still being rebellious. And sadly, even many are in denial. We pray, those who believe, I pray that they are praying for people to respect their local guidelines. Not to be afraid, but to be cautious and concerned. To be respectful of their neighbors and their community, and especially those with pre-existing conditions. To be mindful that this season of life is serious and deadly. And not to be self focused or believing the false narrative that it’s just the flu. Lord God only you know the truth. And only you know how much more we must endure. We’re here, are being guided by the news reports and the scientist and the increasing number of deaths and infections globally. But You are still Sovereign and You waste #nothing! Many in the body of Christ are so discouraged as the elderly are homebound, and many ministries and gospel reaching has either slowed down or stopped. Father God PLEASE remind your church that the Holy Spirit is not bound. The Holy Spirit does not have the coronavirus and the Holy Spirit is not in quarantine. Speak to each child of yours today I pray. All who call Jesus Lord, give them a specific message. A message of encouragement and hope and a message of endurance. Remind them to stay connected to the Vine and to meditate on your Word. To not close it and forget what they have read. Remind them that you are the great I AM and that you are with them. Remind them that you have given them a spiritual gift, and it is for your glory. We pray for healing, we pray for comfort, we pray for those who have lost a loved one, we pray for salvation, we pray for your name to be magnified! We pray for those who know you and love you and trust you to continue praising you. We walk by faith and not by sight. Remind your children, to praise you. Please lift the discouragement. We are saved. We are heaven bound. Have us to look around and see not people infected by the virus, but souls of the walking dead. People are living their lives without a Savior and whether or not they get the virus or cancer or some other disease… If they die in a car accident, or die suddenly, a random act of violence, or die in their sleep… Without Jesus, they are going into the lake of fire after the day of judgment, and standing before you without having received Jesus. Help us to see the lost souls perishing and to open our mouths about the HOPE we have! Help me, and help us. AND lastly but not least… Certainly not least… We pray for every medical worker, every doctor and nurse and even the maintenance workers. We pray for those who are unable to stay home, those who provide the needs for us that we often take for granted. Those public servants that put their own health at risk to provide our society. We pray for all the first responders and Frontline workers. Both in the mission field and in the secular field. And specifically I pray that if there are Christian physicians in place nearing the death of a patient, that person would not be ashamed of the gospel, but would share the precious gift of salvation before the patient dies. Give them the boldness and the words. And may the recipient say “yes” to Jesus and enter into your kingdom like the thief on the cross. All of these souls, all of this loss in 2020 matters to you. Help us to see you are working in ways we cannot see until the end. The glorified and glorious end! In Jesus’ precious and beloved name I pray, amen.

Father God I pray as the year is coming to an end, that the believers, the true believers are wanting to do church and be the church differently in 2021. That we would just not be regular attendees, sitting in our normal seats, doing our normal way of worship. That we would enter into your sanctuary with praise and Thanksgiving and in the presence of our holy God. Help us God to not just go to church and just do church and all those ministries but to be the church. Show us a new way, something that we have overlooked or taken for granted. Something that we have not known, as your word says in Jeremiah 33:3…

I am calling on you and I pray that the global church is calling on you too! Do that which you have created in us to do and be, showing Christ to the world as we prepare to move forward. Prepare us I pray!!! PLEASE FATHER GOD at all cost for Your glory and your kingdom! In Jesus’ name, amen!

““This is what the Lord says—the Lord who made the earth, who formed and established it, whose name is the Lord: Ask me and I will tell you remarkable secrets you do not know about things to come.” Jeremiah 33:2-3 NLT

INVITATION TO THE LORD’S SALVATION πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½♥πŸ™πŸ½♥️

““Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink— even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk— it’s all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food. “Come to me with your ears wide open. Listen, and you will find life. I will make an everlasting covenant with you. I will give you all the unfailing love I promised to David. See how I used him to display my power among the peoples. I made him a leader among the nations. You also will command nations you do not know, and peoples unknown to you will come running to obey, because I, the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, have made you glorious.” Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously. “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts. “The rain and snow come down from the heavens and stay on the ground to water the earth. They cause the grain to grow, producing seed for the farmer and bread for the hungry. It is the same with my word. I send it out, and it always produces fruit. It will accomplish all I want it to, and it will prosper everywhere I send it. You will live in joy and peace. The mountains and hills will burst into song, and the trees of the field will clap their hands! Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow. Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up. These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name; they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”” Isaiah 55:1-13 NLT

“Seek the Lord while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the Lord that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.”

Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT

*Father God first of all I just want to thank You for being God for being Holy, for being Patient and for being Faithful. THANK YOU for Jesus and the #promised Comforter and Holy Spirit, the Wise Counselor for Your people and the Steadfast Restrainer. We are always always asking You for #something. I pray that You would do that which is pleasing in You sight, that You would enlighten the eyes of our hearts to see it and that the Spirit will give us ears to hear what Jesus is speaking to the churches. In His Matchless and Precious name I pray, amen.

*Discernment in Boldness

Father God in the midst of wide spread corruption and deceit, let truth continue to bring light to the darkness. Wake up your church to the lies and the evil plots of the evil ones who form evilness and pretend to call it decency. In Jesus name amen

*Lord God...we love you! You are the perfect, amazing Creator of all things! You are above all, You know all, and You have everything in control! Lord...so many of us are praying prayers similar to the one of Neicy’s friend prayed! Lord forgive our nation...please give us the strength to turn from our sinful ways, to look only to you, and to seek to serve in ways that will bring glory only to you! Help us Lord...to pray in accordance with Your will...please make Your will our will and let us stand strong in Your Word and Your values. Help us please to do this in such sweet, tender ways that others are drawn to You! Please heal us Lord and help us as we move forward. We are so thankful for Your amazing grace and Your mercies that are new every morning! I pray this in the name of Your Precious Son, Jesus Christ, Amen!!!πŸ™ŒπŸ»πŸ’•πŸ™πŸ»

*We marvel at your Holy Spirit, God, who knows all things, reveals what’s concealed, and leads us into all truth. Without you we know nothing. Without you we walk in darkness. Without you truth is not defined! Without you we believe the lies. Without you we cannot walk out our destiny. Without you we will not be saved. Holy Spirit, take up all the space to overflow. Infiltrated this earth through your people God! Let today be a day of SALVATION! Let today be the day EYES OPEN! Let today be the day WE KNOW YOU! Let today be the day of VICTORY, prodigals returning, addictions cease, pride falls, lies are exposed, true identity is revealed, everything is severed that should be and connected as you see to it. Cleanse the earth God! Heart by heart, man by man! This is your world God! WE DECLARE KINGDOM πŸ‘‘ ORDER IN THIS EARTH IN THE NAME OF JESUS!

*With God nothing shall be impossible. The effectual fervent prayer of the righteous availeth much. We pray even now for the United States of America that God would by His Spirit blanket all the states. We pray for peace . We pray for free access to the areas where votes are cast. We decree and declare: no intimidation, no violence. Father let your angels cut off every agenda of the evil one to bring discord. We petition the God of heaven to let your will be done. We pray Father you would put in power those persons that will facilitate your will for the nation and your agenda. Not those that we want but those that you want. You who know the hearts of all men, we pray that you would cause those to be selected who would have a heart for the people and would be pliable in your hands. You who have the destiny of nations in your hands: let the destiny of the USA be fulfilled in this season. Arise O God in USA and let your enemies be scattered. Amen.

*Lord, hear our praises of your wondrous name as we lift you up on high. You are the God who saves and the God who runs in our direction, amen! Thank you for the rain and for the stillness it brings so we can hear your voice more clearly. Thank you, thank you, thank you for saving me. I pray for those that are suffering today with anxiety, fear, and sickness. You tell us to Be Still and know that I am God. Help us all to do that and not let Satan’s noise distract us. I love you Lord because you first loved me. Help me be your hands and feet. Amen! ❤️

*Dear Heavenly Father, forgive me for my impatience. Help me to wholly lean on you and your timing. Make me your servant, humbled and clean. To God be the glory. πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™ This was my prayer on my walk this morning. Ready to do His will as He leads me. Lord, give me your assignment for today. And Father, guide my thoughts, without You, I am alone in a meaningless story. My only hope is to follow Jesus. Amen πŸ™ πŸ™ πŸ™

*Father without you, we are nonexistent, merely walking dead! We praise you for breathing life and love into our beings. We (get) to be your instruments and we pray you continually mold us and make us into the likeness of your beloved Son! In His name, help us and strengthen us. Life has many challenges and in this broken world, there are many more to come as we head toward heaven. BUT, until then, YOU ARE OUR COMPASS AND COMFORT! We love you deeply and eternally. Amen!

*I pray for unity in families during this political season. Many of my friends and peers are struggling in their relationships with parents because of different political beliefs. It’s especially sad to see this in Christian families. Would love to see the body of Christ love one another better in the face of disagreements!

*Pray for healing of this country for the entire nation! restoration, for People to un-harden their hearts against people who don’t look like them, Pray for societies biases. Pray that Gods will be done concerning this world! And the people in it! Last but not least, that our Father in heaven, continue to turn over every rock, and expose the evil hearts and deeds of men, In The matchless Name of Jesus! To whom every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that he is the Lord and Savior of us all, Jesus the Christ!

*Heavenly Father, I come to you today, praying for healing for our country and the nation. I ask that you open our eyes to see you. I pray that you open our ears to hear you. I pray that we the people will seek your face and be obedient to your Word. Through wisdom is a house built; by understanding it is established. (Proverbs 24:3)In Jesus name Amen!

*Amen and Amen! Lord we pray for an awakening in the hearts of Your people, save countless souls as the gospel message goes forth and the advancement of Your Kingdom agenda. Thank You for loving us first and wanting to use ordinary people to do extraordinary things by Your Spirit’s power! Thy Perfect and Sovereign will we pray! Amen! πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

*I pray that in this nation, that we will humble ourselves before God. For repentance, and that millions across this nation and the globe would come to accept Jesus Christ as Lord, to the glory of God

*Please Lord soften the heart of our President and his staff, help him to work past himself and help others and our Country. Please help President Elect Biden and VP Harris keep strong in your word and have patience and your strength Lord to continue to push through to set up the best possible help for all people of out Country. Please be with all of the American people, and help remind us that you have made us all different and that brings us in conflict to work through life lessons together and that it’s ok to have to work together because that is the point that you put before us... the question is how will we respond, in anger, pride etc.... or in LOVE! Amen and God Bless all, Thank you Lord for each day!πŸ™πŸ’—πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

*Father I pray in agreement with my sister. I pray that you would open the eyes and the hearts of those who are still dwelling in darkness. I pray that you will awaken the church, those who are still asleep and those who are complacent, that we would be the glorious light that you created us to be. That we would not look like Denise and Karen and so and so, and so and so, but we would be your image bearers, and we would resemble the likeness of your Son. Until the church becomes unified as a full body of Christ, a global church, hating sin and pursuing righteousness, there’s going to be turmoil and chaos… But, your church can make a ginormous difference for such a time as this!πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½πŸ™πŸ½

*My constant prayer is for truth, justice, and righteousness to prevail in our nation. For Him to root out and remove all the evil and place godly men He continues to transform in places of power. And that He will be glorified in the process. ❤️

*Father God with our leaders, starting with the president on down to the elders in the church… I pray that you would soften any hard hearts. I pray that you would humble any prideful hearts. And I pray that you would expose any deceived hearts. Holy spirit please I pray to do this expeditiously, according to God‘s glorious Pre-Destined and perfect will. Father I thank you that you love us so much that you want hearts transformed. “If we do not repent, we will be blinded and become insensitive to God’s truth, serving Satan’s purposes.” Thank you for warning us. In Jesus precious name, amen.

*Regarding America; The Israelites did the same. Nothing is new under the sun to God. We are sad-

BUT God has given us an example-we can pray and repent like Abraham did for the city of Sodom. He pleaded for any righteous among them. We can pray not so much to spare the righteous but to activate and ignite a true repentance from a sincere love and loyalty that should be to God. We can do that.

IN JESUS' NAME: Ezekiel 36:25-28

Father God praying for someone to have a heart transplant is so NOT a generic prayer to you! I say that because I am asking the God of all creation to take out #their stony heart and to give #them a heart of flesh and to put your spirit in #them. Then I’m asking that you would give #them ears to hear what the Holy Spirit is saying. I’m asking that you would give #them eyes to see what Jesus sees, as we walk this earth! We can see with the natural eye or we can say, “Lord help me to see what you see” and then have His compassion and act accordingly… In Jesus' name this is my prayer for your church and for the lost. When I pray their/them, only You know! Amen!

You said when the righteous cry out you would heart them and you also said that the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.  You know my prayer lists for the lost and you know my heart for the global church.  Please hear me and answer me.

Love, Princess Bride

"I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean; I will cleanse you for all your impurities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws. Then you will live in the land I gave your ancestors; you will be my people, and I will be your God."

Another Note of Thanks

Father I’m sitting here by the balcony door being reminded of how you know me. You know that I am introverted. You moved me to a spot where I would not be alone or lonely. In the physical sense. I know that Jesus is with me wherever I go and I know that I am filled with the Holy Spirit. I am sitting here and I see the beautiful waves and I hear them also. When I glance at this view, I see an array of beautiful clouds. I see sailboats and I see birds flying high. Sometimes I even see the belly of the bird. Sometimes I see the blue Herron.

I see people walking up and down the boardwalk. I see people fishing on the pier. Right now there are three children running up and down the pier. Sometimes I see dog walkers. Sometimes I see people from church. When I pull back from the balcony, I can sit in a certain chair and just see people walking up and down the boardwalk. I see people fishing on the pier. Right now there are three children running up and down the pier. Sometimes I see dog walkers. Sometimes I see people from church. When I pull back, I can sit in a certain chair and just see waves and nothing or no one else. You have put me in a place where I can engage or disengage.

I said the other night and it is no secret to you. It sounds very selfish, but I love this time of the year. Little to no noise. No farmers market, no food trucks, no band or festivals. No loud talking, no curse words, no alcoholics and no arguments. This time of the year, things begin to wind down. No beach goers and no rebels. Just waves! A symphony of waves. I remember when I first moved here, as I was walking towards the back of the bedroom each and every night I would feel kind of sad because I could not hear the waves. Then I remembered a book that I read when I was living in Waldorf. And she shared that she was single and divorced and she'd always wanted a fireplace in her bedroom but cannot afford one. So she put her bed in the living room by the fireplace. And that’s what I did after I got my new bed. I put my bed in the living room so that I could hear the waves as I fell asleep. That was a season of life for me. And now, the bed is back in the bedroom and I have the wave app. Lol

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you again.

Eternally yours and eternally grateful...

As Of Late #PRAISE

My John 1:7 ministry began last January, (2019) and because of HIS Holy Spirit it still continues.  Father God I PRAISE You because it is so not me!

COVID-19 Gospel #Seeds: Titus, Dominic, Katie, Ashton, Dillion, Timothy, Allen, Teresa, Valerie, Sydney, Caroline, Kyle, Ben, Tom, Charmaine, Kaylee, Sofie, Rommy, Zach, Jaylyn, Ms. Connie, Kevin, his son, Nicholas, Teresa, Baily, Harrison, Carson, Laura, Ashley, Joe, Mike, Paul, Gayle, Allen, Quaqinn, Lady of Charity, Evan, Alex and his wife, Laveda, Veronica, Christ, Dave, Betsy while walking with her family, three teens walking the boardwalk at night, two 13 year old girls walking the boardwalk...their grandparents are believer's but they aren't... (Sad FACE) Lord Jesus, please take all of these seeds and grow them as ONLY YOU CAN!  Plant them, water them and manifest them for Your Glory and Your Kingdom!

Jesus You know that I encountered these people during my prayer walks, at McDonald's, Dairy Freeze, NB Ice Cream Shop, Giant Food, some in the parking lots, bus stops and Roland's.  Maybe a few while getting an oil change, at the airport or drive thru.  You know that usually, my first instinct is hesitation.  AND then, the Holy Spirit nudges me and gives me the right words for the right circumstances and WOW GOD!  You are something else!   What an #adventure!

Previous Gospel Seeds:
Sandy, Carrie, Mike, Laura, Eric, Joe, Mike, Noah, Keith, Dovetta, Kendra, Kendra, Nolan, Ester, Eureaka, Ryan, Omega, Donnie, Ashley, Katie, Patrick, Australian Guests, Deont'e, Michael, Stephanie, Heather, Cora, Sylvia, Glenda, Kendra, Colin, Judy and her son, Anthony, JT, Demitri, Nate, Brandy, Emma, Dawn, Zach, Rex, Cheryl, Benjamin, Ghana, Bosomdo, Shama, Tia, Kell, Noland, Cheryl, Rex, Benjamin, Dylan, Aiden, Matthew, Nate...

Excerpt from the Parable of the Sower:  "When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart.  This is the seed sown along the path.  The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy.  But since they have no root, they last only a short time.  When trouble or persecution comes because of the world, they quickly fall away.  The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.  But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it.  This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."  Matthew 13:19-23.

Father God, daily I pray to submit myself to You.  I pray that You will have Your way and order my steps.  I pray for humility.  I pray to be a willing vessel.  I pray to be obedient.  I pray to be effective.  I pray to be loving.  I pray to be kind.  I pray to be attentive.  I pray to be a light.  I pray to speak the truth in love.  I pray to be someone who points others to Christ Jesus and His mercy, grace, oh so redeeming, cleansing, transforming blood!  I pray that when I depart from their presence, that person while ponder:  "Who is this Jesus who "supposedly" died for me?  And with that life changing question, they would come to the TRUTH that He is the way, the truth and the life and that no one goes to the Father except through His Son.

Please, I pray, in Jesus' name.  Amen!

I pray they would discover this truth, embrace it, apply it to their lives and live it out, day after day!

What Have YOU Done For Me Lately? #PRAISE

GOD You are so very faithful and the COVID-19 has NOT changed that.  Not only are You still God, but You are still #good!

You are still answering prayers and I am still praising YOU!  Thank You for being such a steadfast Presence in my life.  Actually, not my life, but the life Your Son died to give me.  (Galatians 2:20-21).
Thank YOU for another celebrated Resurrection Sunday and the beautiful, awesome sunrise.  YES, the Son has risen indeed.  Glory Hallelujah.  I loved when Paul said in the gospels that if Christ had not resurrected, then we, the believers are the most to be pitied.

BUT CHRIST IS ALIVE and I am His!!!

God it still amazes me that You find purpose in me.  I thank You that in the midst of this pandemic, I can still be a presence for You and share the truth and the hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Over the past few months YOU have done so many great things in my life and those that I love and do life with.  THANK YOU for those who still have a job.  Thank You for those who still have food to eat.  Thank You for all the first line workers and responders.  Thank You for all the godly wisdom that came from and comes from YOU!  Thank You for the ways in which we can still communicate and encourage one another.

I pray that in this uncertainty, for the (lost soul) that people are seeking YOU!  You have proven to be #trustworthy and #loving!  YOU loved us all the way to the Cross!  Jesus willingly surrendered His life for us.  Our SINS and our shame, past failures, brokenness and disappointments.  HE suffered the wrath that was meant for mankind and I say, "THANK YOU!"

With that love, my response is "Here I am, use me."  And that's what You have been doing.  Thank You for the Rhema Word in the Book of Jonah and from Charles Spurgeon.  Thank You that I get to walk around this beautiful town of mine and engage people just as if I were on mission in Ghana, Japan or England.  Thank YOU that You care about every lost soul, whether around the corner or across the globe.  Thank You for giving me the truths by #entrusting me with Your gospel message.

This virus cannot stop the spread of the gospel and the Word is still life sustaining manna!  The Holy Spirit will never be bound!  Your Word heals and because of the GREAT LOVE You have for us, You desire spiritual healing over physical healing.

Thank You that perfect love cast out all fears.  You have given me a spirit of courage and confidence and I know that it is indeed Your Spirit and nothing I'm doing in my own will.

Thank You for those who allow me to share the gospel with them.  Thank You for those who truly stop, talk with me, share parts of themselves and actually listen.  YOU alone will transform hearts.  All You need are willing servants.  All You need is a submissive posture and a heart that adores You!

Thank You for the good health and provisions You've given to my parents, siblings, children, grangirls and extended family.  And also to me.  Sometimes my ankle still swells up, but when I can walk, I do know that it is by Your grace!!!

Thank You for my shelter, clean water, medication, food, cell phone, technology, medical insurance, and the ability to pay my living expenses.  Thank You for another tax return this year.  Thank You for a stimulus check and thank YOU for being our ALL PROVIDER!

Thank You for the gift of writing and the ability to blog.  Thank You for giving me the passion and time to update my blogs.  Thank You for the sunny days, the beautiful flowers, the bird's song, the trees, the breeze, the wind, the waves and the rest.  MOST importantly, thank YOU for the special and intentional time spent with me during Lenten season.  All those midnight dates and the intimacy was so very sacred to me and so very memorable.  I have been trying to document so much.  I've been using Siri, my notes section on the phone and saving so many of my favorite and new scriptures.

THANK YOU for all of the men and women who LOVE YOUR Word and do not misrepresent it or alter it.  Thank You for all of my prayer walks and the gift of tears.  Thank You for hearing all of my prayers and proving that You hear and care.  Thank You for pouring into our Shepperd's and church staff.

Thank You for the social media, and all the available technology tools that are being used for good. Specifically, giving the churches a way to stream sermons on line.  AND, I thank You for the freedom to stream or not.  To engage in social media or not.  To read Your Word with a group or just one on one.  Thank You for the freedom that You have given me in Christ Jesus!

I love this time with You as I know that everyone is NOT enjoying this pandemic.  Enjoying may seem like a strange Word, but the Book of James commands us to count it #all joy!  It is not a good thing to have happened and that is happening.  We are still in the midst of it and it does not seem to be a cure or vaccine in the near future.  Just the dire need for more and more testing.  The death toll is horrific and the sorrow and grief is beyond human understanding.  The average person cannot handle this kind of loss.  BUT with Christ, we can endure all things because we do not endure them alone and we are not left to do so.

YOU promised that You would never leave us nor forsake us!  YOU said in the famous book of Psalms that You are with us.  With the righteous and with those who mourn.  You are with the weak and with the searching hearts.  YOU are a GOD who walks with His people.  You proved that when You were the Pillar of Cloud by day, and the Fire by night, as the Israelites were sojourners through the wilderness!  They had never experienced that before and we have never experienced this before.  At least not those in their 80's and younger...

You said that even though we'd walk through the valley of the shadow of death, goodness and mercy would follow that.  I am seeing and experiencing Your goodness and I say, "THANK YOU!"

Thank You for the free film "The Chosen" on YouTube.  I loved seeing the human side of Jesus and that ways in which He interacted with His beloved disciples.  I loved how HE healed Mary and how Peter humbled himself at the feet of the Messiah!

Thank You for John Piper's audio book on YouTube.  Another free streaming and so applicable concerning Your Sovereignty and our response as Your church during this COVID-19 season of life.

Thank You for those who still have employment.  Thank You for those who are hiring and thank You for those who are able to work from home.  Thank You for all the schools who were able to give out Chromebooks and to help facilitate the kids as they learn from home.

Thank You for the ways in which You provide for SO MANY outside of the United States and across the globe.  I say a BIG thank YOU for hearing my prayers for so many that I will never meet.  Thank You for the gift of prayer.  Thank You for praise and worship music and thank YOU for being the ONE who holds the ending to not just this virus, but the final days for all of mankind.  The virus does not mark our day of death.  YOU are Sovereign and have already determined that.  YOU are all knowing and all powerful and nothing catches You off guard.  YOU created life and You alone know the end for us.  This virus does not have the final say.  The Book of Revelation clearly outlines the ending of this life on earth and it is such a precious gift to not be afraid.

What have You done for me lately?  YOU have continued to remind me that I am forgiven, loved, chosen, called, and equipped.  You have proven that YOU are a Mighty GOD who does what is Just and Good.  You have the ability to end this all right now, every awful thing and every breathing thing...BUT because YOU are still unfolding Your plan, we still have an opportunity to give You glory.  Those who believe still have an opportunity to be a witness to this HOPE that we have and those who have not decided to follow Jesus, still have time to decide.

THAT is the Sovereignty of God.  He is still pursuing souls, wanting to add to and advance His Kingdom and wanting to extend His love.  And, also, not forcing anyone to believe, but offering eternity everlasting for those who do.

God Your love is unconditional and eternal and I say --- THANK YOU!

So much more to thank YOU for....so much more...

Where to begin...PRAISE

So much has happened since my last post....and I am still here only because HE has a purpose for me...

Somethings have not been good...BUT God Almighty has not changed!

"Not one promise from God is empty of power, for nothing is impossible with God!" -Luke 1:37

I'll try to give a brief caption from each month....so hard to do when GOD is always showing up, always blessing me, always faithful, always reminding me and always encouraging me!

September:  My ankle flared up so bad that I said to God, "Lord if YOU want me to serve You with one foot, I will do it!"  I still cannot believe that I said that, but I surely meant it.  The pain was unbearable and debilitating.....HE came through for me.  AND not only that, a member of my family was in distress and there was nothing I could do.  My GOD came through, as HE always does.  He said, "Beloved I AM not asleep and led me to Psalms 121!  He delivered and oh YES I DID PRAISE HIM!!!!! Even if He had not given the answer I'd hope for HE KNOWS I would have and will still #Praise Him!

October:  The enemy came again....as his tactics are to harass children of God until we see God face to face.  He hates that he's not GOD and he hates that we LOVE and WORSHIP God in spite of our circumstances!  And that's what I planned to do!  HE, GOD Almighty delivered me when I was hell bound and I have to shout from the roof top that I am HIS and HE is #forever mine!

So, the adversary of my soul tried to attack someone in my circle of love and as a result, salvation came to someone I'd been praying into God's Kingdom.  YES, Romans 8:28 is #truth!  And yes, the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective.  All we have to do is remain faithful and allow the work of the Holy Spirit to do His work! (John 5:17)

November:  This past Thanksgiving I was feeling blue inside....and MY GOD turned it into pure #JesusJoy!  My #grangirls and I had so much laughter, a beautiful pink sunset, yummy homemade yams, delicious dessert and we played several card games....no cell phones....just lots of love....and yes, a #penny at the end!  I cannot believe I forgot how to play spades when I used to be the champion! Lol

December:  I love the freedom I now have about not buying Christmas gifts.  It is Jesus' Birthday.  What's with spending all this money for everybody...?!  "I'm just saying..."
I love that God has created me this way....
I still have a few people pleasing issues and He's working on me, but this "overspending and stressing" over Christmas.... SO NOT ME #anyomore!  YAY and Thank YOU Jesus!
Stopped by the nursing home to give Mary her journal.  Visited mommy and then the #grangirls.  We had laughter and prayer!  Thank YOU God for giving me a priceless chance to love on my girls with the gospel truth and to leave a legacy of faith.  I had no clue....I still weep that we get to pray in the name of Jesus.

I still remember how upset I was discovering that my daughter was pregnant, both times.  So not wanting her to repeat the "so-called" mistakes that I had made.  YOU knew, says Psalms 139... You knew that I would have these precious girls and You knew that Jesus would be our Lord and that He would hear our prayers and walk alongside us in this life's journey, day after day, even when life hurts...and especially when we do not understand....
God YOU are #foreverfaithful and I love YOU!

BTW I woke up to a text on the 29th, from my sweet son saying, "Hey ma, I decided to get baptized today.  Can you make it?!"
GLORY HALLELUJAH!  Answer to a mama's prayer!!!

January:  WOW what a beautiful gift that YOU gave me in my friendship with #myMissy!  We had such a girl's weekend.  I mean seriously, she is the only one that can get me to eat cheesecake for breakfast.
Not only that, on New Years Eve, we pulled an all-nighter! Lol
The dinner was not good. The key lime pie was a 9! The fellowship was the same "unforgettable, authentic, honest, funny, tearful and love-filled!
We stayed up until 5:30.  So much fun! Yummy much needed girl time!!!  Then on New Years Day, after our dessert and coffee, we met with the Lord and interceded for over 500 people, crying out to God for their salvation. LORD JESUS every single one of those names are a soul to YOU and matter!  We prayed in the power of the Holy Spirit and we are trusting God's Divine will for each life.

February:  It is still February and YES Jesus did spoil me on Valentine's Day!  JUST like He always does!  HE #created LOVE!  Diamonds, chocolate, jewelry and a night on the town ain't got NOTHING on our Savior and what He did on the Cross!  He wants to love each and every person into the Kingdom of GOD.  And that LOVE is life-sustaining and eternal.  GLORY TO GOD in the Highest!

God Your PRESENCE in my life is something I could never fully put into words.  YOUR holy scriptures are my blood-line pumping through my veins.  I need to know the truth daily.  I don't need the world's view, personal opinions and "feel good" stuff....I will never, ever forget when I read for the first time in the book of Romans when Paul said, "Sin deceived me."  I want to know the truth even when it hurts.  TRUTH saves lives and truth yields complete freedom!  I have never, ever felt so free and so confident about anything in my entire life.  I declare with every fiber of my being that because of the finished work on the Cross that JESUS Christ is the way, the truth and the life.  By faith, I have put my trust in Him and by faith, I believe that He is coming back for His church and will judge the unbelieving world.

I believe that today is the day of Salvation and God is not slow in keeping His promise but wanting none to perish and all to come to repentance.

Father GOD keep pursing this world until all have heard and have a chance to accept or reject Your love.  May every tribe, tongue and nation have ears to hear what the Spirit is saying!  In the name of Jesus' I pray!  Amen!

Eternally yours

He is still GOD and still good...PRAISE

Father God I PRAISE YOU!  I thank You for so many praises and so many answered prayers!

I am unable to keep up with You.  I'm having such an #adventure trying to document the prayers and the praises.  I have several prayer journals, a prayer room and many places where I delight in meeting with and being still with You.  I love when I sit in my orange birthday chair in the bedroom by the window.  I love the striped chair in the living room by the balcony door.  I love the night time hours in bed with my spotlight lamp.  I love those moments when I just get my bible tools, jump in the car and go away with You.  I love the prayer time spent with Michelle.  I love the Prayer and Care tears on Tuesdays with the women of Grace.  I love the group text "prayer partners" and I love those who I can strongly depend on to pray for me and my family when I am exhausted, when I forget and when I just do not have the words.

THANK YOU FOR ALL the ways in which You have richly blessed my life and the ministries that You have entrusted to me.  Thank You for the special time that I got to spend with Regenna and Karen at the Sight and Sound Theater.  We saw JESUS and wow.....I never know when I'm going to cry and when I did, it was when Jesus hung on the Cross.  This was the first time that I saw a play and a body was hanging on the Cross.
We had such a fun time together and Your PRESENCE was felt.  We always glorify You and You always bless us.  Thank You for the penny You gave me when I arrived at the parking lot early and thank You for the penny You gave me at the end of the night at the 7/11 front door.

Thank You for continually being the Overseerer of my #grangirls.

Thank You for the ways in which You are revealing Yourself to my son.

Thank You that Your eyes are on my daughter!

Thank You for providing for JT and keeping him healthy!

I have been crying and praying and reading and praying and crying and seeking YOU!
You have been ever so faithful.  You have been my safe place, my refuge.  You have been the voice in my ear.  I am so grateful that Your sheep know Your voice.  I am so grateful that You hear my prayers.  Thank You for Psalm 91.

YOU are a God who hears the cries of His people.

Thank You for Your promise that the prayers of a righteous person are powerful and effective!

Thank YOU for that ORANGE Cross someone painted on the shelf at the store as mom and I stopped to talk about T.

Thank You for all the pennies You've placed along my path, reminding me of the agreement I made with You to trust YOU!

Small things were answered:  I wanted lemons from the Women's Retreat in Waldorf.  I wanted some Kleenex at the Women's dinner at Bethel Church.  The lady at my table wanted a hair dryer during the raffle.  Not to mention the penny You gave me from the drive thrus... Golden Skillet and Wendy's...YOU answered all those... Your Word says that You care about the raven's and You clothe the lillies...are WE NOT MORE Important than that?!

GREAT is THY FAITHFULNESS....again and again...great is Thy faithfulness!

I praise You that Nola and Lily are praying for my family!

GOD only You know why, but it seems as if I'm deep in the valley of tears, yet I see YOU everywhere and I cannot stop PRAISING You!  Everywhere I look, there You are!  Thank You for using Dr. Stanley to minister to me in the late hours of the night well into the morning.  He still speaks to my spirit and You are still using him mightily.

AMAZING what happens to a soul that says, "YES" to God!

Keep using him and keep using me...I am willing Lord.  My flesh is indeed week, but I am willing.

A #Ginormous THANK YOU! For the third time, I desperately needed YOU and #again, You said, "I AM!"

Keep me in the center of Your will and as the apple of Your eye!

EVEN when... help me to #TRUST You!  Not what I see, but YOU!

I will PRAY without ceasing!  I will PRAISE You, as long as I have breath!

This is not my life, but the life YOUR Son died to give me.

In Jesus' name, helped me to cling to the Cross!  Please help me to live out my calling, to live out my salvation with fear and trembling, I pray. Amen!

Various God Testimonies: To GOD be all the PRAISE!!!

Just look at God! My McDonald's ministry is bearing fruit! The young lady that I met the other, a young Catholic who works at a nearby store, asked if she could buy a Bible from our church. She says "When I talk to my grandmother, she disagrees. I want to read what you're reading and do what you're doing!"
Look at God! To God be the glory! Yay and Amen!!! He #Reigns!!!  I ordered her a devotional bible and the Holy Spirit said, "Order ten."  YAY....He has more young girls and women that He wants me to pour into!

The other day I gave a "mini sermon" at McDonald's.  Lol
There were 5 people in there and I shared reasons why some prayers go unanswered and how we must first go through Jesus Christ. God was there because it surely wasn't me. Not at all. My intentions were to run in and grab a cup of coffee and get back home.

A few days prior, I prayed with an employee from the PNC. Then went to get coffee and saw an elderly woman sitting in her car. I asked if she'd like to pray. Her house had flooded and she was waiting for her daughter to come and help her. She was Catholic after praying, she began to cry. God's #perfect timing. Holy Spirit all the way!

When our Momentum Youth Group went "Fishing" in Indiana. We decided to split the kids up and remove them from their comfort zone. We had them pair up with someone they hadn't spent time with yet. I invited Gracie Strong to be my fishing buddy. We prayed with 5 different people and we shared the gospel with three teens. Destiny was 16 and coming out of the Dollar Store with her Aunt. I questioned her about ever going to youth group. She had not. That was our opening. We shared the gospel of Jesus and asked if she'd be willing to confess her sins and she said, yes.

We also saw two boys on really cool bikes and I asked them about them. Then I told them why we were visiting Indiana and asked about their faith. They couldn't answer the questions and we introduced them to Jesus Christ! I asked if they'd ever done anything wrong and they shook their heads, yes. I asked if they'd be willing to tell God all about it and confess that they were sorry and then said, yes. We also had some little youth books to give them about The Gospel of Mark that another (team) had shared with us moments before.
I know it was all God. He didn't want them to come to faith and is just to ride away. We talked for quite awhile and they were all ears. The Holy Spirit had their undivided attention! Those books were meant for Burke and Jack two teens right where they were supposed to be on a rainy day. Our new siblings in the Faith!

#JustLokkAtGod!!! Let everyone who has breath PRAISE Him!

Starbucks PRAISE

It's never about me. After leaving my daughters house, I was trying to figure out where could I meet my son. We had an appointment but we were going to meet halfway, so I suggested the Starbucks. I know that he loves their coffee…

I gave him my credit card and told him to purchase whatever he wanted… And then I went to the restroom to powder my nose. LOL I knew that there was a penny in there somewhere with my name on it. As I came out, and approach my son, I told him just that. And I started bragging on my King and...Lo and behold, there was a penny on the floor under the register.

I'm such a little kid, as I yelled "I told you so!" And then looked again, and there was another one just a little to the right. I held everyone's attention and then unbeknownst to me, I yelled out, "Does anyone need prayer? God answers my prayers! Does anyone need prayer!?"

There were about 12 or so people in the store  and a woman came up to me saying that she needed prayer. She first asked if I was a prayer warrior or an evangelist… And I said both! Then she asked, "What church do you attend?" I said, "Grace Brethren of Owings, Maryland."

She was standing beside the sugar and cream both, and I asked that she move over to the left as to not block anyone's path. I asked her a few personal questions, and then gave her a little of my testimony as her prayer request was something that God delivered me from. And then, we prayed, in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit! I am sure people were watching.  I'm sure others needed prayer also, but she was bold enough to admit it! We prayed God's Words back to Him, and we prayed with great expectation that He was listening and He will answer! To  God be the glory because Alex didn't need Starbucks but Paula needed PRAYER!

Lord I PRAISE YOU for making me #BOLD!

Feeling Restless PRAISE

I'm driving down the street, telling God how I want to share the love of Christ with someone and decided to stop at Walmart on my way to an appt. When I picked my parking space, the woman beside me was sitting in her truck, looking at me.

I got out of the car, looked at her and said "You look like you want to pray."

She let out a deep sigh and said "I got so much stuff going on."

I invited her to sit in my car and she shared her burdens with me. She's a Christian but hasn't been going to church lately.  She admitted to not reading the bible or praying...

She just needed to be reminded what God has promised her and how to activate her faith.

She said I was a blessing and I said "the Lord led me right to you!"
I shared the importance of fellowship and PRAYER!

Father I praise You and I thank You for using me ASAP. You're timing is always perfect.

Ephesians 3:20 PRAISE

Caroline sent me an e-mail and asked me to join her in a prayer.  She specifically asked for Ephesians 3:20.  I said let's set our alarm and pray daily at 3:20 pm.  OH YES GOD DID ANWER OUR PRAYER!

He is #able!

Last Prayer Walk Praise

This morning, I thought it would be raining and was planning in my head what to do.  I knew that I was going to take my hat to Jessica, if she wanted it.  After walking daddy to his car, I gave Chet a greeting card to thank him for his kindness and then I began my last prayer walk in Akron!  HOW Faithful it GOD!?  I can't help but PRAISE HIM!!!
First thing this morning, I saw Mary Lee.  I hugged her and gave her my number.  I told her that I love to pray and that I’m only a prayer away!  She said that she was going to tell her sister about me and forgot.  She said, “That day that I saw you, you really blessed me.”  I told her the other day, I saw another woman with the LIGHT of Christ surrounding her.”

I walked my usual route and felt the Holy Spirit telling me to go into the furniture store.  Each time I walked passed it, I quietly wondered why it was open so early.  ______ was inside and I told him that I was on a prayer walk.  He said that he was blessed and didn’t need prayer.  I then pried, and he changed his mind.  He asked that I pray for his health.  He then went on to say for the strength to stop smoking.  I told him about the POWER of the Holy Spirit and how he was not going to be able to do it on his own.  He was a Catholic but only the God knows if he has a personal relationship with our Savior and solely depends on the Spirit for strength.  I told him that we can’t, but GOD can! He was grateful for our talk and shook my hand.

I met Mariah, a 26 year old mom of a 2 year old with NO Prayer needs.  She was busy setting up the store, so I gave her a gospel track and asked if she could read it later.  While paying for my food, I pried and told her that I found that hard to believe that she had not one prayer need.  She said, “Life’s good.  I’m happy right now!”  I said, “When I was 26, I felt  that way also, but happiness is not continuous and they’ll surely come a time when things aren’t good.”  After eating half of my sandwich, I went to tell her that the coffee was the worst that I’d ever had and that I don’t think God sent me there to get coffee.  I asked her if anyone had ever shared their faith with her and she admitted that she was raised Catholic and that her parents forced religion on her.  She went on to say that she’d do it on her own terms.  I told her that she is being given that chance now and how the Lord sent me to talk with her.  I said to forget that “religion” that was forced on you way back then and to give GOD another chance.  “Having a relationship with Christ is not forced, but free will.”  After talking a little more, and also sharing how she could start praying God's will for her daughter, she smiled and said what’s your name again? Then shook my hand and said, “Thank You.”

Walking back, I prayed with Autumn.  A woman at the bus stop on the phone with her fiancΓ© and struggling with smoking.  She put him on hold while we prayed, and I was weeping during our prayer.  God told me to tell her that she would get COPD if she didn’t stop and she said, “My grandmother has it and told me the same thing. This ain’t nothing BUT GOD!”  I prayed for her health and her upcoming marriage also.

I was singing a song that I (made up) to the Lord and saw a woman by the dealership door.  I was not going to talk with her and the Spirit told me to.  I asked if she needed prayer and she did.  NOTHING BUT THE LORD at work!  GOD is AWESOME.  Her prayer was that the “struggle she had” would be given to the Lord and that she would not pick it back up.  She was so grateful.  It was incredible to be used by God in Sonia’s time of need!

Lastly, once again, I was not going to talk to him and the Spirit told me to.  Quantrez was raking the grass and I called out to him twice.  He was wearing his earbuds and had his back to me.  I thought since he didn’t respond, “Oh well.  I tried.”  The Holy Spirit told me to walk around the sidewalk to the other side and speak with him.  He was a 16 year old Christian and I asked him what was he doing with his faith.  He shrugged his shoulders.  I talked with him for quite awhile about things to do for God’s Kingdom and how he was not too young to make a difference in this community and in the lives of his friends.  He said, “Thank you ma’am.”  I told him not to be shy or afraid.  I told him to ask the Lord for strength each day and it will be given to him.

LORD it's YOUR Spirit and so not me.  I want to sleep in and have some time to do absolutely nothing.  BUT then, a new day comes and we are at it once again....walking and talking and seeking the lost.  HELP ME!  Day after day, help me to do Your will and not allow me to have my way.  I only want what YOU want for me.  In Jesus' name! Amen!

Brain Freeze PRAISE

I’m walking through the Walmart just getting a few things and wondering how the Lord was going to use me today.  Just after getting my greeting cards, I turned the corner and paused, “trying to figure out what’s next.”  That’s when 79 year old Jerry looked at me and said, “We both have a brain freeze.”  I laughed and we started talking about a few items that we’d already had.  It went on from there.  Sweetest fellowship in deed! He said that he was going to thank the GOOD Lord for me tonight when he said his prayers and how he wished that there were more people like me.  I cried.  I told him that God’s using us both to tell others about Him.  We talked about prayer and God’s grace.  Jerry said, sadly “Some will discover that their names aren’t written in His Book.”  He, with joy shared some of his childhood memories about his parents and church.  When he was 12, he’d met Judy and used to see her every summer for youth stuff.  She used to hug him with such love and warmth and he’d often wondered how she was doing.  He said I reminded him of Judy.  I smiled and asked if I could hug him.  The hug felt like a family reunion.  Jerry was so touched.  He was so tenderhearted and thirsty for some good old Christian fellowship.  God planned our encounter long ago.  Jerry said to tell my parents that they did a good job with me.  I asked for another hug and told him that I loved him.  He said, “I love you too Denise.”  Just look at GOD! To God be the glory.  Jerry had a list of health issues but our God’s grace was surely sufficient for him as he was walking and talking about the things of the Lord and it was so evident that he’s not ashamed of the gospel! I am certain that people walking by heard us PRAISING Him!

Sisters In The Faith PRAISE

Yesterday was amazing! I had the most incredible fellowship with Maxine. We met only seven days prior. We were in the grocery store, and it was indeed a divine appointment. Yesterday's time together was sweet and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. We shared our lives and discovered we had many similarities. We repeatedly shared the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord and what He did in the past, and has done thus far. She shared her amazing testimony and sang some old hyms. We prayed together believing God for more miracles. We prayed asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit Power in a mighty way! We prayed for friends and family as well as church leaders. We were crying out, being completely transparent and praying scriptures over one another, simultaneously, claiming Isaiah, Psalms, Philippians, and Romans. The Holy Spirit was undoubtedly in the midst!

Father God Thank You!!!

After my prayer walk today, I spoke with Kaha! Lord You Reign. She and I can talk about Your goodness all day long, one praise after another. John 1:16 is true… From the fullness of Your grace, we have all received one beautiful blessing after another!

Lord I absolutely love and feed off of Christians who love You just as much as I do. I love saints that have a passion for You, Your Word and what You want to do through Your people!  We had a sweet time of fellowship via our cells, and I thank You for cell phones. Thank You for providing technology that is used for good! Thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites and media links that feed us spiritually in addition to Your Holy Scriptures. thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites, posts and links that feed us spiritually, in addition to Your Holy Scriptures.

Father God I PRAISE YOU that I still want more…I'm still thirsty and I'm still hungry for YOUR truth, wisdom and understanding!   GROW me in the knowledge of Your character! My heartfelt prayer is that the Holy Spirit will help me cultivate and maintain this fervor, day after day, after day! In Jesus' name, amen!

Bus Ticket PRAISE

This AMAZING BEAUTIFUL MORING, HE WAS FAITHFUL ONCE AGAIN!  I was hot and sweaty and guess what?  It’s not about me.  You may not know this, but I have “OCD.”  There are certain things that “REALLY bother me.”  God is funny and still uses me despite my quirks.  I love how HE loves!

This morning I prayed with a woman at McDonald’s. She wasn’t feeling well and was seating behind me while waiting on the cab.  I also prayed with the cashier concerning her 5-year-old daughter who is blind in one eye.  She knows the Lord.  Next, I met 22-year-old Matthew at the bus stop and long story short…so yummy…he’s drug free for the past 90 days.  He recently started going to church and a treatment and a drug program.  He was looking eye to eye with me as I shared Christ with him.

Just before him, I was walking and saw this woman coming in my direction.  I absolutely knew that she was a believer.  I asked if she had anything on her heart that I could pray for and she said, “I’m a Christian too. I’m on my way to testify in a criminal hearing and I’d like to pray for the Holy Spirit to speak through me.”  We prayed and then before letting her hand go, she prayed for me and then starting thanking God that He was using me to walk up to strangers asking if they’d like to pray.

The last yummy story is way long as we talked for a long time. NOTHING BUT GOD!  I prayed, and HE is so faithful to hear me!  I can’t remember it all because it was the HOLY SPIRIT! I saw this couple to my left as I was walking up the street, and I started to go over to them and didn’t.  I continued walking up the right side of the street and as I turned around, I said, “God if they are still there, I’ll go and talk with them.”  It had to be at least 20 min or so later and there they were, still sitting on the bench.  I walked over and explained that I’d seen them earlier and how God told me to come and speak with them.  I asked if they had any prayer needs and they did.  A’s grandma had passed, and they came down for her funeral.  They had no money to get back home.  God used me to bless them with bus tickets back to ___________ and A could not stop crying.  While ordering the tickets on line, she then cried again and asked if I could also pray that God would help her get her kids back.  I began telling them about the GOD I serve and how HE is able.

They both showed me their pocket New Testaments and said how they were just reading them earlier.  As we talked more and more, I could discern that they weren't “Spiritually mature” and not yet “fully Believing” in our GOD.  I shared how many read the bible, may or may not attend church but HOW Christians are to have a personal RELATIONSHIP with the Savior and not just going through the motions of reading.  I shared that as HIS children, we can ask the HOLY Spirit to explain it and help us to live it out.  C went on to ask, “I just don’t get why we keep arguing every day.  What are we missing?”  I told him that it was the flesh not fully surrendering to God’s will.

I shared scriptures from James, Galatians, Proverbs and Isaiah.  It was a sweet and honest time of exhorting and encouraging.  We had nothing, but time and they were completely open to me speaking hard truth into their lives.  I shared some of my struggles as did they. It was so incredible to be right where GOD sent me.  C said that his own mother wouldn’t help him and goes to church every Sunday and here, a perfect stranger is helping him.  I told him, “First, we are not to judge.  Only God judges the motives of our hearts.  Forgive your mom and pray for her.  Secondly, don’t give me any credit, as this is God meeting your needs through me as I listen in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.”
I told them about the sheep knowing the Father’s voice.  We held hands and prayed.

My Back Itch --- PRAISE...Lol

A brief encounter and a lasting impression:

I was walking and needed to scratch my back, so I crossed the street and leaned against a pole. LOL

Then I looked in this restaurant window and saw some women talking. So I walked in and asked if they were having a prayer meeting.
They were not, and looked at me rather strangely.
I smiled and asked, "What's wrong with prayer?"
One of the girls, sarcastically looked at me and said, "Nothing, you want to pray go ahead and pray and pointed to the empty chair!"
I asked if she was a believer, she said, "Yes but I don't like to pray in public."
I sat down, prayed for us, giving glory to God for brand new day!  I thanked Him for His mercy, His grace and His Son. Then I prayed for the public servants, the senior citizens and then kids that may be out playing later, as today is going to be another heatwave day. Lastly I prayed for them, saying, "Lord I don't know these women but you do. And I lift their unspoken needs up to you."

I prayed in the name of Jesus, right there in the restaurant with 5 strangers. And after saying, Amen, I looked up and the waiter was standing there with his head bowed wearing a cross.

Heading back to dad's, I encountered a man named Jim. He was not interested in the Gospel. He was bitter because he said that God does not answer his prayers. He said life sucks and then you die. His heart was too hard for a conversation. I told him that I'd be praying for him. I backed away, stood a few feet from him, and as he was lighting his cigarette, I started praying! He could hear me and after, I said, "I love you Jim!"

Our lives have purpose when we first acknowledge that HE is Lord over all.  Daily, we are (those in Christ) to die to self, pick up our cross and follow Him.  I'd love to sleep in, but the Holy Spirit, by God's grace...awakens me, morning by morning...

What an AMAZING morning walking in the Spirit!  I prayed, walked, listened and witnessed!  To GOD be the glory!!!  I PRAISE my LORD and my KING!

I saw Angelina and Kevin at the bus stop and asked if I could pray anything for them.  Angelina's health is not good and Kevin asked if I would pray about that.  As we continued talking, I shared the gospel.  They were homeless, and the bus was delayed because of a Marathon...but GOD!  Listening and leaning in, the Holy Spirit shared Matthew 5:3 and the Prodigal son with them.  After I shared Christ, the bus came!

Next, I saw Stephanie at another bus stop.  I asked if she knew a church that I could attend as I was visiting.  She was a on again, off again church goer.  She said that her mom was a Christian and that she was always strict; never drinking, smoking or cursing.  I shared with her about the Grace of God and how her mom’s faith is completely separate from her walk with Christ and having a relationship with Him.

After the yummy and fruitful conversation with Angelina and Kevin, I was just walking along PRAISING GOD and singing!  The next thing I know, the Holy Spirit told me to turn left.  There was Jimmy!  I told him the Lord sent me here to talk to him and he was absolutely thrilled.  He asked if I could sit or was I in a hurry.  He got me a chair and we started talking about GOD, His GRACE and Mercy.  He shared some stories about his parents being deaf and how God brought him a wife who is hearing impaired.  He kept saying, “I should be dead. She saved my life.  God used her to save my life.”  He was an alcoholic and drug user.

While we were talking, Thomas comes up and asked Jimmy for a cigarette.  I said, “No, don’t give him one.” And laughed.  I said, “I’m going to pray you stop smoking.” Then I shared a brief story about how my sister quit.

Pause:  I cannot begin to tell you how God took over my conversation with Thomas.  IT WAS ANOTHER DEVINE APPOINTMENT!  The Holy Spirit told Thomas about doubting “Thomas.” You should have seen Thomas when he looked at me and said, “My name is in the bible?”  It was a moment of truth, then another one and another one.  Thomas has been running from God and today was his day to hear the TRUTH!  The three of us talked for about a half hour or so.  It was like three friends catching up.  Thomas asked lots of great questions.  I know he would have soon decided if there weren’t two interruptions.  The Spirit told me to take him to the side, away from the distractions that kept occurring.  I ended with this:  On the day of judgement, you’ll either hear, “Well done thy good and faithful servant OR depart from ME, I never knew you.”  Tears came from his eyes as he said, “I needed this today. More than you know.”  I hugged him and told him that I loved him and that he couldn’t run from GOD!

Lastly, here comes Christopher.  He was so confident in his "misguided faith" and mixing it with other "religions!"  We talked for about 15 minutes before the bus came.  I told him some HARD TRUTHS about his false beliefs.  He was not offended but grateful.  He admitted that his mom and grandma told him similar things that I shared but he went astray, trying to find "his own faith and understanding." LORD GOD may the prayers of his mom and grandma come to pass. May YOU Flood him with YOUR TRUTH and Your Light! In Jesus' name. Amen!

Follow Up & Salvation PRAISE

This morning I met a 29 yr old young man sitting outside of McDonald's on his break. Sadly he was hardhearted and not interested in hearing the gospel. He got up and walked away. As he walked off, I told him that I would be praying for him. I continued sitting there, drinking coffee sending out encouragement. Ten minutes later, Kelly drove up. Before Kelly arrived, while walking and praying, I said God, "I want a loud praise today!"

Kelly parked her truck and got out and to give me an update and I already knew she had the victory! We met last week during a prayer walk and she shared she was being discriminated against in the workplace. We prayed in her truck. Not only did God give her favor during her hearing with her supervisor, but she got two job offers afterwards! We were screaming and shouting "glory hallelujah" right there at the McDonald's, for all to hear approaching the drive-through. I wish you could've been there! God had me right where I was supposed to be. She stole "my words" and kept saying "Look at God!" πŸ˜ŠπŸ™Œ

We can't even begin to wrap our brain around what HE wants to do through His children!

I continued walking, crossing the street and headed toward the bus stop is where I met Donna. This story is too long so I'm going to try and shorten it. I shared the gospel with Donna, and she was saying that she was a hypocrite and that God would not be able to forgive her for the things that she had done. I told her about the grace of God and the salvation offered through Christ our Lord, cleansing and forgiving us, from all unrighteousness… And as I began to share my sins and past with her and how God cleaned me and redeemed me, her eyes lit up. I shared some scriptures about our sins, and His forgiveness, His grace and HIs mercy.
She repented, and as she was praying, she said, "Should I be on my knees?"
I said, "All you have to do is bow your heart and talk to Him! Donna confessed her sins and received the Lord today. And as we were talking, 3 to 4 buses drove by, but none were for her. We talked for about 20 minutes about the goodness of God and the power of prayer. We also talked about getting into a good Bible believing church and fellowship. Before I left, she thanked me, saying that she had needed "someone" to talk to. Today Donna and Denise had a divine appointment! To God be the glory!
Let's keep Donna in our prayers asking the Holy Spirit to show her where to worship, getting connected and that the enemy won't continually remind her of who she used to be. Lord Jesus guard her thoughts and walk her through Your TRUTHS! We pray on this day, amen!
