I've known Christ for almost 12 years. Since receiving Salvation, my life has been one incredible blessing after another (John 1:16). I journal regularly and still, my thoughts and pen can not keep up with Him. Blogging is so natural for me. It also affords me the chance to click on this blog when I need to remember HIS faithfulness. I want those who doubt to know that God is good and His goodness is for all. I'm not His favorite, though I like to tease my friends and family by saying that I am. I oftentimes sign my letters and cards, ("Neicy! The one whom Jesus loves.) I may not be His favorite, but I am His Princess Bride and have been documenting my journey on that (blog) as well. I hope you delight in something I've shared and see that HE rewards those who seek Him with their whole hearts. (Read Hebrews 11:6).

Various God Testimonies: To GOD be all the PRAISE!!!

Just look at God! My McDonald's ministry is bearing fruit! The young lady that I met the other, a young Catholic who works at a nearby store, asked if she could buy a Bible from our church. She says "When I talk to my grandmother, she disagrees. I want to read what you're reading and do what you're doing!"
Look at God! To God be the glory! Yay and Amen!!! He #Reigns!!!  I ordered her a devotional bible and the Holy Spirit said, "Order ten."  YAY....He has more young girls and women that He wants me to pour into!

The other day I gave a "mini sermon" at McDonald's.  Lol
There were 5 people in there and I shared reasons why some prayers go unanswered and how we must first go through Jesus Christ. God was there because it surely wasn't me. Not at all. My intentions were to run in and grab a cup of coffee and get back home.

A few days prior, I prayed with an employee from the PNC. Then went to get coffee and saw an elderly woman sitting in her car. I asked if she'd like to pray. Her house had flooded and she was waiting for her daughter to come and help her. She was Catholic after praying, she began to cry. God's #perfect timing. Holy Spirit all the way!

When our Momentum Youth Group went "Fishing" in Indiana. We decided to split the kids up and remove them from their comfort zone. We had them pair up with someone they hadn't spent time with yet. I invited Gracie Strong to be my fishing buddy. We prayed with 5 different people and we shared the gospel with three teens. Destiny was 16 and coming out of the Dollar Store with her Aunt. I questioned her about ever going to youth group. She had not. That was our opening. We shared the gospel of Jesus and asked if she'd be willing to confess her sins and she said, yes.

We also saw two boys on really cool bikes and I asked them about them. Then I told them why we were visiting Indiana and asked about their faith. They couldn't answer the questions and we introduced them to Jesus Christ! I asked if they'd ever done anything wrong and they shook their heads, yes. I asked if they'd be willing to tell God all about it and confess that they were sorry and then said, yes. We also had some little youth books to give them about The Gospel of Mark that another (team) had shared with us moments before.
I know it was all God. He didn't want them to come to faith and is just to ride away. We talked for quite awhile and they were all ears. The Holy Spirit had their undivided attention! Those books were meant for Burke and Jack two teens right where they were supposed to be on a rainy day. Our new siblings in the Faith!

#JustLokkAtGod!!! Let everyone who has breath PRAISE Him!

Starbucks PRAISE

It's never about me. After leaving my daughters house, I was trying to figure out where could I meet my son. We had an appointment but we were going to meet halfway, so I suggested the Starbucks. I know that he loves their coffee…

I gave him my credit card and told him to purchase whatever he wanted… And then I went to the restroom to powder my nose. LOL I knew that there was a penny in there somewhere with my name on it. As I came out, and approach my son, I told him just that. And I started bragging on my King and...Lo and behold, there was a penny on the floor under the register.

I'm such a little kid, as I yelled "I told you so!" And then looked again, and there was another one just a little to the right. I held everyone's attention and then unbeknownst to me, I yelled out, "Does anyone need prayer? God answers my prayers! Does anyone need prayer!?"

There were about 12 or so people in the store  and a woman came up to me saying that she needed prayer. She first asked if I was a prayer warrior or an evangelist… And I said both! Then she asked, "What church do you attend?" I said, "Grace Brethren of Owings, Maryland."

She was standing beside the sugar and cream both, and I asked that she move over to the left as to not block anyone's path. I asked her a few personal questions, and then gave her a little of my testimony as her prayer request was something that God delivered me from. And then, we prayed, in the power and anointing of the Holy Spirit! I am sure people were watching.  I'm sure others needed prayer also, but she was bold enough to admit it! We prayed God's Words back to Him, and we prayed with great expectation that He was listening and He will answer! To  God be the glory because Alex didn't need Starbucks but Paula needed PRAYER!

Lord I PRAISE YOU for making me #BOLD!

Feeling Restless PRAISE

I'm driving down the street, telling God how I want to share the love of Christ with someone and decided to stop at Walmart on my way to an appt. When I picked my parking space, the woman beside me was sitting in her truck, looking at me.

I got out of the car, looked at her and said "You look like you want to pray."

She let out a deep sigh and said "I got so much stuff going on."

I invited her to sit in my car and she shared her burdens with me. She's a Christian but hasn't been going to church lately.  She admitted to not reading the bible or praying...

She just needed to be reminded what God has promised her and how to activate her faith.

She said I was a blessing and I said "the Lord led me right to you!"
I shared the importance of fellowship and PRAYER!

Father I praise You and I thank You for using me ASAP. You're timing is always perfect.

Ephesians 3:20 PRAISE

Caroline sent me an e-mail and asked me to join her in a prayer.  She specifically asked for Ephesians 3:20.  I said let's set our alarm and pray daily at 3:20 pm.  OH YES GOD DID ANWER OUR PRAYER!

He is #able!

Last Prayer Walk Praise

This morning, I thought it would be raining and was planning in my head what to do.  I knew that I was going to take my hat to Jessica, if she wanted it.  After walking daddy to his car, I gave Chet a greeting card to thank him for his kindness and then I began my last prayer walk in Akron!  HOW Faithful it GOD!?  I can't help but PRAISE HIM!!!
First thing this morning, I saw Mary Lee.  I hugged her and gave her my number.  I told her that I love to pray and that I’m only a prayer away!  She said that she was going to tell her sister about me and forgot.  She said, “That day that I saw you, you really blessed me.”  I told her the other day, I saw another woman with the LIGHT of Christ surrounding her.”

I walked my usual route and felt the Holy Spirit telling me to go into the furniture store.  Each time I walked passed it, I quietly wondered why it was open so early.  ______ was inside and I told him that I was on a prayer walk.  He said that he was blessed and didn’t need prayer.  I then pried, and he changed his mind.  He asked that I pray for his health.  He then went on to say for the strength to stop smoking.  I told him about the POWER of the Holy Spirit and how he was not going to be able to do it on his own.  He was a Catholic but only the God knows if he has a personal relationship with our Savior and solely depends on the Spirit for strength.  I told him that we can’t, but GOD can! He was grateful for our talk and shook my hand.

I met Mariah, a 26 year old mom of a 2 year old with NO Prayer needs.  She was busy setting up the store, so I gave her a gospel track and asked if she could read it later.  While paying for my food, I pried and told her that I found that hard to believe that she had not one prayer need.  She said, “Life’s good.  I’m happy right now!”  I said, “When I was 26, I felt  that way also, but happiness is not continuous and they’ll surely come a time when things aren’t good.”  After eating half of my sandwich, I went to tell her that the coffee was the worst that I’d ever had and that I don’t think God sent me there to get coffee.  I asked her if anyone had ever shared their faith with her and she admitted that she was raised Catholic and that her parents forced religion on her.  She went on to say that she’d do it on her own terms.  I told her that she is being given that chance now and how the Lord sent me to talk with her.  I said to forget that “religion” that was forced on you way back then and to give GOD another chance.  “Having a relationship with Christ is not forced, but free will.”  After talking a little more, and also sharing how she could start praying God's will for her daughter, she smiled and said what’s your name again? Then shook my hand and said, “Thank You.”

Walking back, I prayed with Autumn.  A woman at the bus stop on the phone with her fiancé and struggling with smoking.  She put him on hold while we prayed, and I was weeping during our prayer.  God told me to tell her that she would get COPD if she didn’t stop and she said, “My grandmother has it and told me the same thing. This ain’t nothing BUT GOD!”  I prayed for her health and her upcoming marriage also.

I was singing a song that I (made up) to the Lord and saw a woman by the dealership door.  I was not going to talk with her and the Spirit told me to.  I asked if she needed prayer and she did.  NOTHING BUT THE LORD at work!  GOD is AWESOME.  Her prayer was that the “struggle she had” would be given to the Lord and that she would not pick it back up.  She was so grateful.  It was incredible to be used by God in Sonia’s time of need!

Lastly, once again, I was not going to talk to him and the Spirit told me to.  Quantrez was raking the grass and I called out to him twice.  He was wearing his earbuds and had his back to me.  I thought since he didn’t respond, “Oh well.  I tried.”  The Holy Spirit told me to walk around the sidewalk to the other side and speak with him.  He was a 16 year old Christian and I asked him what was he doing with his faith.  He shrugged his shoulders.  I talked with him for quite awhile about things to do for God’s Kingdom and how he was not too young to make a difference in this community and in the lives of his friends.  He said, “Thank you ma’am.”  I told him not to be shy or afraid.  I told him to ask the Lord for strength each day and it will be given to him.

LORD it's YOUR Spirit and so not me.  I want to sleep in and have some time to do absolutely nothing.  BUT then, a new day comes and we are at it once again....walking and talking and seeking the lost.  HELP ME!  Day after day, help me to do Your will and not allow me to have my way.  I only want what YOU want for me.  In Jesus' name! Amen!

Brain Freeze PRAISE

I’m walking through the Walmart just getting a few things and wondering how the Lord was going to use me today.  Just after getting my greeting cards, I turned the corner and paused, “trying to figure out what’s next.”  That’s when 79 year old Jerry looked at me and said, “We both have a brain freeze.”  I laughed and we started talking about a few items that we’d already had.  It went on from there.  Sweetest fellowship in deed! He said that he was going to thank the GOOD Lord for me tonight when he said his prayers and how he wished that there were more people like me.  I cried.  I told him that God’s using us both to tell others about Him.  We talked about prayer and God’s grace.  Jerry said, sadly “Some will discover that their names aren’t written in His Book.”  He, with joy shared some of his childhood memories about his parents and church.  When he was 12, he’d met Judy and used to see her every summer for youth stuff.  She used to hug him with such love and warmth and he’d often wondered how she was doing.  He said I reminded him of Judy.  I smiled and asked if I could hug him.  The hug felt like a family reunion.  Jerry was so touched.  He was so tenderhearted and thirsty for some good old Christian fellowship.  God planned our encounter long ago.  Jerry said to tell my parents that they did a good job with me.  I asked for another hug and told him that I loved him.  He said, “I love you too Denise.”  Just look at GOD! To God be the glory.  Jerry had a list of health issues but our God’s grace was surely sufficient for him as he was walking and talking about the things of the Lord and it was so evident that he’s not ashamed of the gospel! I am certain that people walking by heard us PRAISING Him!

Sisters In The Faith PRAISE

Yesterday was amazing! I had the most incredible fellowship with Maxine. We met only seven days prior. We were in the grocery store, and it was indeed a divine appointment. Yesterday's time together was sweet and filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit. We shared our lives and discovered we had many similarities. We repeatedly shared the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord and what He did in the past, and has done thus far. She shared her amazing testimony and sang some old hyms. We prayed together believing God for more miracles. We prayed asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit Power in a mighty way! We prayed for friends and family as well as church leaders. We were crying out, being completely transparent and praying scriptures over one another, simultaneously, claiming Isaiah, Psalms, Philippians, and Romans. The Holy Spirit was undoubtedly in the midst!

Father God Thank You!!!

After my prayer walk today, I spoke with Kaha! Lord You Reign. She and I can talk about Your goodness all day long, one praise after another. John 1:16 is true… From the fullness of Your grace, we have all received one beautiful blessing after another!

Lord I absolutely love and feed off of Christians who love You just as much as I do. I love saints that have a passion for You, Your Word and what You want to do through Your people!  We had a sweet time of fellowship via our cells, and I thank You for cell phones. Thank You for providing technology that is used for good! Thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites and media links that feed us spiritually in addition to Your Holy Scriptures. thank You for strong and mature Christians, thank You for leaders who preach and teach Your flock, thank You for websites, posts and links that feed us spiritually, in addition to Your Holy Scriptures.

Father God I PRAISE YOU that I still want more…I'm still thirsty and I'm still hungry for YOUR truth, wisdom and understanding!   GROW me in the knowledge of Your character! My heartfelt prayer is that the Holy Spirit will help me cultivate and maintain this fervor, day after day, after day! In Jesus' name, amen!

Bus Ticket PRAISE

This AMAZING BEAUTIFUL MORING, HE WAS FAITHFUL ONCE AGAIN!  I was hot and sweaty and guess what?  It’s not about me.  You may not know this, but I have “OCD.”  There are certain things that “REALLY bother me.”  God is funny and still uses me despite my quirks.  I love how HE loves!

This morning I prayed with a woman at McDonald’s. She wasn’t feeling well and was seating behind me while waiting on the cab.  I also prayed with the cashier concerning her 5-year-old daughter who is blind in one eye.  She knows the Lord.  Next, I met 22-year-old Matthew at the bus stop and long story short…so yummy…he’s drug free for the past 90 days.  He recently started going to church and a treatment and a drug program.  He was looking eye to eye with me as I shared Christ with him.

Just before him, I was walking and saw this woman coming in my direction.  I absolutely knew that she was a believer.  I asked if she had anything on her heart that I could pray for and she said, “I’m a Christian too. I’m on my way to testify in a criminal hearing and I’d like to pray for the Holy Spirit to speak through me.”  We prayed and then before letting her hand go, she prayed for me and then starting thanking God that He was using me to walk up to strangers asking if they’d like to pray.

The last yummy story is way long as we talked for a long time. NOTHING BUT GOD!  I prayed, and HE is so faithful to hear me!  I can’t remember it all because it was the HOLY SPIRIT! I saw this couple to my left as I was walking up the street, and I started to go over to them and didn’t.  I continued walking up the right side of the street and as I turned around, I said, “God if they are still there, I’ll go and talk with them.”  It had to be at least 20 min or so later and there they were, still sitting on the bench.  I walked over and explained that I’d seen them earlier and how God told me to come and speak with them.  I asked if they had any prayer needs and they did.  A’s grandma had passed, and they came down for her funeral.  They had no money to get back home.  God used me to bless them with bus tickets back to ___________ and A could not stop crying.  While ordering the tickets on line, she then cried again and asked if I could also pray that God would help her get her kids back.  I began telling them about the GOD I serve and how HE is able.

They both showed me their pocket New Testaments and said how they were just reading them earlier.  As we talked more and more, I could discern that they weren't “Spiritually mature” and not yet “fully Believing” in our GOD.  I shared how many read the bible, may or may not attend church but HOW Christians are to have a personal RELATIONSHIP with the Savior and not just going through the motions of reading.  I shared that as HIS children, we can ask the HOLY Spirit to explain it and help us to live it out.  C went on to ask, “I just don’t get why we keep arguing every day.  What are we missing?”  I told him that it was the flesh not fully surrendering to God’s will.

I shared scriptures from James, Galatians, Proverbs and Isaiah.  It was a sweet and honest time of exhorting and encouraging.  We had nothing, but time and they were completely open to me speaking hard truth into their lives.  I shared some of my struggles as did they. It was so incredible to be right where GOD sent me.  C said that his own mother wouldn’t help him and goes to church every Sunday and here, a perfect stranger is helping him.  I told him, “First, we are not to judge.  Only God judges the motives of our hearts.  Forgive your mom and pray for her.  Secondly, don’t give me any credit, as this is God meeting your needs through me as I listen in obedience to the leading of the Holy Spirit.”
I told them about the sheep knowing the Father’s voice.  We held hands and prayed.

My Back Itch --- PRAISE...Lol

A brief encounter and a lasting impression:

I was walking and needed to scratch my back, so I crossed the street and leaned against a pole. LOL

Then I looked in this restaurant window and saw some women talking. So I walked in and asked if they were having a prayer meeting.
They were not, and looked at me rather strangely.
I smiled and asked, "What's wrong with prayer?"
One of the girls, sarcastically looked at me and said, "Nothing, you want to pray go ahead and pray and pointed to the empty chair!"
I asked if she was a believer, she said, "Yes but I don't like to pray in public."
I sat down, prayed for us, giving glory to God for brand new day!  I thanked Him for His mercy, His grace and His Son. Then I prayed for the public servants, the senior citizens and then kids that may be out playing later, as today is going to be another heatwave day. Lastly I prayed for them, saying, "Lord I don't know these women but you do. And I lift their unspoken needs up to you."

I prayed in the name of Jesus, right there in the restaurant with 5 strangers. And after saying, Amen, I looked up and the waiter was standing there with his head bowed wearing a cross.

Heading back to dad's, I encountered a man named Jim. He was not interested in the Gospel. He was bitter because he said that God does not answer his prayers. He said life sucks and then you die. His heart was too hard for a conversation. I told him that I'd be praying for him. I backed away, stood a few feet from him, and as he was lighting his cigarette, I started praying! He could hear me and after, I said, "I love you Jim!"

Saturday, June 30, 2018

Our lives have purpose when we first acknowledge that HE is Lord over all.  Daily, we are (those in Christ) to die to self, pick up our cross and follow Him.  I'd love to sleep in, but the Holy Spirit, by God's grace...awakens me, morning by morning...

What an AMAZING morning walking in the Spirit!  I prayed, walked, listened and witnessed!  To GOD be the glory!!!  I PRAISE my LORD and my KING!

I saw Angelina and Kevin at the bus stop and asked if I could pray anything for them.  Angelina's health is not good and Kevin asked if I would pray about that.  As we continued talking, I shared the gospel.  They were homeless, and the bus was delayed because of a Marathon...but GOD!  Listening and leaning in, the Holy Spirit shared Matthew 5:3 and the Prodigal son with them.  After I shared Christ, the bus came!

Next, I saw Stephanie at another bus stop.  I asked if she knew a church that I could attend as I was visiting.  She was a on again, off again church goer.  She said that her mom was a Christian and that she was always strict; never drinking, smoking or cursing.  I shared with her about the Grace of God and how her mom’s faith is completely separate from her walk with Christ and having a relationship with Him.

After the yummy and fruitful conversation with Angelina and Kevin, I was just walking along PRAISING GOD and singing!  The next thing I know, the Holy Spirit told me to turn left.  There was Jimmy!  I told him the Lord sent me here to talk to him and he was absolutely thrilled.  He asked if I could sit or was I in a hurry.  He got me a chair and we started talking about GOD, His GRACE and Mercy.  He shared some stories about his parents being deaf and how God brought him a wife who is hearing impaired.  He kept saying, “I should be dead. She saved my life.  God used her to save my life.”  He was an alcoholic and drug user.

While we were talking, Thomas comes up and asked Jimmy for a cigarette.  I said, “No, don’t give him one.” And laughed.  I said, “I’m going to pray you stop smoking.” Then I shared a brief story about how my sister quit.

Pause:  I cannot begin to tell you how God took over my conversation with Thomas.  IT WAS ANOTHER DEVINE APPOINTMENT!  The Holy Spirit told Thomas about doubting “Thomas.” You should have seen Thomas when he looked at me and said, “My name is in the bible?”  It was a moment of truth, then another one and another one.  Thomas has been running from God and today was his day to hear the TRUTH!  The three of us talked for about a half hour or so.  It was like three friends catching up.  Thomas asked lots of great questions.  I know he would have soon decided if there weren’t two interruptions.  The Spirit told me to take him to the side, away from the distractions that kept occurring.  I ended with this:  On the day of judgement, you’ll either hear, “Well done thy good and faithful servant OR depart from ME, I never knew you.”  Tears came from his eyes as he said, “I needed this today. More than you know.”  I hugged him and told him that I loved him and that he couldn’t run from GOD!

Lastly, here comes Christopher.  He was so confident in his "misguided faith" and mixing it with other "religions!"  We talked for about 15 minutes before the bus came.  I told him some HARD TRUTHS about his false beliefs.  He was not offended but grateful.  He admitted that his mom and grandma told him similar things that I shared but he went astray, trying to find "his own faith and understanding." LORD GOD may the prayers of his mom and grandma come to pass. May YOU Flood him with YOUR TRUTH and Your Light! In Jesus' name. Amen!

Follow Up & Salvation PRAISE

This morning I met a 29 yr old young man sitting outside of McDonald's on his break. Sadly he was hardhearted and not interested in hearing the gospel. He got up and walked away. As he walked off, I told him that I would be praying for him. I continued sitting there, drinking coffee sending out encouragement. Ten minutes later, Kelly drove up. Before Kelly arrived, while walking and praying, I said God, "I want a loud praise today!"

Kelly parked her truck and got out and to give me an update and I already knew she had the victory! We met last week during a prayer walk and she shared she was being discriminated against in the workplace. We prayed in her truck. Not only did God give her favor during her hearing with her supervisor, but she got two job offers afterwards! We were screaming and shouting "glory hallelujah" right there at the McDonald's, for all to hear approaching the drive-through. I wish you could've been there! God had me right where I was supposed to be. She stole "my words" and kept saying "Look at God!" 😊🙌

We can't even begin to wrap our brain around what HE wants to do through His children!

I continued walking, crossing the street and headed toward the bus stop is where I met Donna. This story is too long so I'm going to try and shorten it. I shared the gospel with Donna, and she was saying that she was a hypocrite and that God would not be able to forgive her for the things that she had done. I told her about the grace of God and the salvation offered through Christ our Lord, cleansing and forgiving us, from all unrighteousness… And as I began to share my sins and past with her and how God cleaned me and redeemed me, her eyes lit up. I shared some scriptures about our sins, and His forgiveness, His grace and HIs mercy.
She repented, and as she was praying, she said, "Should I be on my knees?"
I said, "All you have to do is bow your heart and talk to Him! Donna confessed her sins and received the Lord today. And as we were talking, 3 to 4 buses drove by, but none were for her. We talked for about 20 minutes about the goodness of God and the power of prayer. We also talked about getting into a good Bible believing church and fellowship. Before I left, she thanked me, saying that she had needed "someone" to talk to. Today Donna and Denise had a divine appointment! To God be the glory!
Let's keep Donna in our prayers asking the Holy Spirit to show her where to worship, getting connected and that the enemy won't continually remind her of who she used to be. Lord Jesus guard her thoughts and walk her through Your TRUTHS! We pray on this day, amen!

More Akron PRAISE

What another AMAZING day walking in the Spirit.  GOD IS SO FAITHFUL! I walked all the way up the right side of the street praising GOD, singing and praying….looking and listening…Said a few “hellos” and then as I was turning around, ready to walk back on the left side, “telling the Lord” Okay God, I’m turning around…
And there HE goes…first conversation was with Myron.  I saw him walking toward the school in uniform and thought he was a coach.  I asked if he knew the Lord and he said, “Yes.”  We talked and he did.  Hes’ 17 and loves the Lord.  I told him to stay on his path and influence the youth with the Gospel!  He was very encouraged and thanked me.  I was blessed by him being young and grounded in his faith.

Next, WOW!  Yummy conversation with T, a groundskeeper for the school.  The Holy Spirit has his attention as I shared Christ with him.  His dad is ill and it was a perfect chance to talk about heaven.  He was so grateful for the GOOD News.  Let’s pray he’ll give his life to Jesus!  Father may the seeds bear fruit in Jesus’ name. AMEN!
I walked on singing and praising GOD and saw Sabastian sitting in a truck with his cross on.  I talked with him briefly about the LORD.  He’s 23 and going to be volunteering at youth camp.  I told him to make a difference in the life of those kids and to look for the ones who seem sad or disconnected from the others.  We prayed in advance for the kids he will impact in the name of Jesus!

Last Night's PRAISE

I shared the gospel with a family member last night and I know that the Holy Spirit is faithful to do what only HE can do.  I was obedient and HE will most assuredly be FAITHFUL.  In Jesus' name, I prayed and it will be done!!! AMEN and Glory Hallelujah!  I'm PRAISING in #advance!

RAINY DAY PRAISES!

Father God, Today was a Holy Spirit Explosion!  It rained today so I didn’t get to do my bus stop ministry.  Lol

BUT HOW GOOD IS GOD!  I prayed and hit the shopping center!  I met 4 beaming Christians at the Panera.  Then headed to Hobby Lobby to check on ----- but she was off today.  Just wanted to see if she had read the track and wanted to talk.  While prayer walking inside, listening for the Holy Spirit, He introduced me to a beautiful “cancer survivor” named Sheila, We had PRAISE and WORSHIP in the jewelry section! She gave HIM all the Praise for her healing and being cancer free!  After we talked, she said, “Lets pray for one another.”  She prayed a beautiful and anointing prayer over me and God answered ASAP!
Leaving out, I got a text from a friend who was really in need of prayer.  It was raining really hard and I just stopped and prayed just outside the exit door.  A woman named Dorothy came up and heard me say JESUS and she stopped.  She asked if I was praying and I said, “Yes.”  She joined me and said that she too had a friend who needed prayer. Once we finished praying, she said, “Your prayers are confirmation that he already has the VICTORY!”  LOOK AT GOD!
Next, I went to the Wal-mart and WOW God!  I was hoping to share Christ and GOD Almighty put in my path Beverly, Dorothy, Danny, Ray and Melody…all believers!  We each during separate encounters encouraged one another and gave glory and praise to our KING!  Danny asked me to pray for him by the computers and Ray prayed for me by the donuts.  NOTHING BUT GOD!  I was a little disappointed because “I wanted to walk but it was raining.”  I LOVE the rain and I welcome the rain…I just need to remember that it’s not about me and GOD has AWESOME and Devine Appointments on the rainy days too!  YES AND AMEN!

PEN PAL PRAISE and More...

Yesterday's YUMMY GRACE!  What a PRAISE!!! Nothing but Psalm 139:16!
What a day of God’s AMAZING GLORY!  I met my pen pal for the first time yesterday and went to church with her.  She picked me up at 9-sharp!  I was so happy to meet her.  I know I talked the entire time and she was so graceful allowing me!  Lol
She went to work after church and I got to ride along!  It was such sweet fellowship and it truly felt like old friends catching up!  SO AMAZING to me that when you meet "other BELIEVERS" in the Lord, Jesus Christ, you feel like instant family!  Well, at least I do!
Yummy WORD from the Sunday School lesson given by Tom and the Sermon from Pastor Mike!  Later as we drove along the highways and freeway, I was hoping to share the Gospel with someone!
How faithful is HE?!  I wanted to stop for a cup of coffee, but God wanted me to talk to Billy!  I saw that look in his eye like we did on The Way of The Master DVD!  He was close but not yet ready.  BUT God’s Word went forth!  I pray God that he will seek the truth for himself.  In Jesus' name, amen!
Later we went back to church for prayer and more YUMMY Truths from the Book of Revelation!  THANK YOU JESUS for wanting and promising to RETURN for us!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As tired as I was last night, I couldn’t wait for today!  So excited to see who the LORD would bring in my path!  I prayed and hit the pavement.  I stopped at the Laundromat to sit and pray some more and as I was leaving, I met Trish, an employee.  She was hurt by the church and was interested in what I had to say, but did want prayer about future employment opportunities.  GOD don’t leave her out in the world, going it “alone!”  May Your Holy Spirit woo her and convict her heart.  REVEAL Your Sovereign will for her life!  In Jesus’ name! Amen.

Next was Ebony.  I single mom with 3 kids.  Their dad was absent.  I shared the gospel with her and gave her a track!  She said she didn’t have time for church because of the children.  I told her that if she received HIM, and began cultivating a relationship with HIM, He would guide her and instruct her.  She’d no longer have to do life on her “own” and that HE would be a FATHER to her kids.  Father GOD I pray she will seek You and find You with her whole heart!  In Jesus' name, amen!

Next, I spoke with Mark.  He used to read the Word when he was in jail, but doesn’t anymore.  He HEARD the Gospel today and I pray LORD GOD that You will convict his heart before it’s too late!  God I pray that YOU will use the truths shared to awaken him to seek You again!  In Jesus’ name. Amen!

Next, I met Cameron.  A bright, energetic young man in the faith.  His dad’s a pastor but Cameron admitted that although he attends church regularly, he’s a “horrible witness!”
It was fun sharing and talking TRUTH with him. He was so attentive and grateful.  I loved his spirit and is wanting to do life differently.  I felt he needed encouragement and was meant to cross paths with me.  He was excited as I reminded him that David conquered the Giant with a rock and CONFIDENCE IN HIS GOD!  Cameron said he was scared to just walk up to people…I told him something from the book of ACTS and he lit up like a Christmas tree!  I told him I’m not BRAVE, GOD MAKES ME BRAVE! I pray that the LORD will make him brave and give his feet faith!  In Jesus’ name.  Amen!
Praise! Father as I was walking, I saw Leroy again.  He said that after our encounter the other day, a woman pulled over and gave him $100 bill.  He wondered if she and I knew one another.  I said, "No it was God showing HIS LOVE toward you."  I told him that I was hoping for another chance to see him and gave him a gospel track about GOD being his Father.  He hugged me! I also saw Marylee smiling and working and I blew her a kiss.  She has such a presence of the Lord shining from the inside out!  I also saw Lawrence, we smiled and spoke.

McDonald's PRAISE

My dad asked me last night if I was going to take a break or walk again tomorrow?  :-)

ANOTHER great day of prayer walking and evangelizing! Right when I hit the PNC, I saw a #penny!  I thank GOD and prayed and looked up and there was my first encounter.  Only GOD knows what He is doing and NOTHING is by chance.  These conversations were deep and purposeful.

I met two different men named Marcus. JUST LOOK AT GOD! One 32 at the beginning of my walk and the other 36 as I was making a U-turn and getting ready to head back.  Neither made a decision today and both knew about God. They weren't ready to give up "their lifestyles." LORD GOD OF ALL CREATION, may the HOLY SPIRIT #convict their hearts like HE did for me!  In Jesus name, they were nothing but God appointed encounters!

Then after breakfast, I asked God if HE could send someone to encourage me before the end of the day. It was like God said, "Why wait till then?"

After that prayer, I walked over to McDonald's for a cup of coffee. I saw this woman sitting alone, and asked if I could sit with her. She politely declined.  As I began to sit at the table in  front of her, I looked to my left and there was a man wearing a T-shirt that said "Go and make disciples!"  He was also wearing a baseball cap with the Jesus fish on it! I invited myself to sit with him! We took turns sharing PRAISING GOD and encouraging one another. He was an elderly gentleman and was sharing some of his past and how the LORD Completely Transformed his life.  He went to jail for many years and his wife of 43 years prayed for his soul for 29 years.  Everyone was telling her to leave him and she did not.  She died 7 years ago and he was still harboring some regrets about how he treated her.  I told him that his tears will not be in vain because their is a CELEBRATION on the way and WHAT A BLESSED REUNION IN STORE FOR THE CHILDREN OF GOD!  He said, "You just gave me Holy Ghost goose bumps!"  Lol

He said that whenever he gets down, God keeps saying, "I know. Just do the work that I've assigned to you!"  Ya'll don't know that, BUT MY GOD tells me the exact #same thing!  LOOK AT GOD putting two saints together who LOVE HIM!!! He said that ever since he was released from prison, God called him to preach about Hell.  We prayed in the name of Jesus in the McDonald's parking lot before we departed one another. He has a 5-day revival coming up in a few weeks.  Let's pray for a Holy Spirit Explosion.  Since I've been here, the news keeps reporting on all the violence with gangs, drugs and shootings. LORD JESUS POUR OUT YOUR SPIRIT in Akron, Ohio and the surrounding area!  We ask this because YOU ARE ABLE and Your desire is for repentance and salvation.  Amen!

AUNTY PRAISE! Glory Hallelujah!

GOD TO YOUR NAME BE GLORIFIED!

I can't exactly remember when, but I know last year sometime I begin sending my Aunt Pearl scriptures.  I added her to my "Daily Barnabas" texts and she was so grateful...

She expressed her gratitude to me several times.  I was so grateful to be used by GOD and even more grateful that she was receiving TRUTH and that it was ministering to her spirit.

She and dad talk every Friday and today she called him.  He put her on speaker and I could immediately hear the JOY in her voice.  She was so thrilled that all she could do was PRAISE THE LORD!  She'd been in chronic pain for way too long.  She was saying how she was praying and asking GOD what was he going to do with this "journey" and what was her purpose for the pain?

GOD YOU ALONE via her searching the net, brought her to the right doctors, the right treatment and the right timing!  YOU do everything on PURPOSE for Your Purpose!  I could have jumped through the phone and had a PRAISE and HALLELUJAH Dance with her.  She sounded so filled with JOY.  It was spilling out through the phone!

LORD CONTINUE WITH WHAT YOU ARE DOING AND CONTINUING USING YOUR DEVINE POWER TO FULFILL EVERYTHING YOU STARTED AGES AGO!

I am Praising You NOT For this incredible news, BUT BECAUSE YOU ARE NOT EVEN CLOSE TO SHOWING US WHAT YOU HAVE PREDESTINED FOR THOSE WHO BELIEVE!

So, so, so, so, so, so, excited!!!!!!!

1 Corinthians 2:9 Contemporary English Version (CEV)

But it is just as the Scriptures say,
“What God has planned
    for people who love him
is more than eyes have seen
    or ears have heard.
It has never even
    entered our minds!”

Rainy Day But Still Fruitful...

June 22, 2018!  It was raining this morning.  I headed to McDonald’s for coffee and then to Walmart for dad’s paper goods.  I was so hoping to speak with someone about the Lord.  I talked with two women who did not know Him but the Spirit was not leading me to continue engaging.  I think if it were a different place and time, maybe, just maybe it could have been fruitful.  BUT LORD it’s YOUR SPIRIT at work and not me so THANK YOU that I don’t have to carry the guilt of not giving out a gospel track or convincing them that Jesus is Lord!  Another woman in the Grocery store said she was a believer in GOD but did not know what I meant when I asked if she was a Christian.  Kristin was sitting in her truck and I asked if there was anything on her heart that we could pray about.  She said that she was not a Christian, but a Catholic and did not like to get into Religious and Political discussions with people.  AGAIN, SOVEREIGN LORD, do what Your Holy Spirit does….Peirce Hearts and REVEAL TRUTH!

Emily was 26 and said that her mom was a Catholic but that she was not interested in the gospel.  I felt such sorrow for her as I walked away.  I just couldn’t leave the store.  I talked with her once more, then I left.  Headed to another store and then I was headed home.  The Holly Spirit said to go back and give her my last “sand-circle!”  I wrote her a note telling her about 2 promises.  John 3:16-18 and Psalm 139.  I also gave her a gospel track!  FATHER MAKE YOURSELF KNOWN TO HER THAT SHE WOULD BE FREE AND BURSTING WITH JESUS JOY and then all those Words in that Store would resonate with her spirit and she would never be the same and then one day, she’d pay it forward like I’m doing.  FOR YOUR KINGDOM and NO OTHER REASON!  Thank You that Janell and Jessie were believers.  Please Lord, answer Jessie as I’m praying that she does what I suggested.  Give her a balanced and purposeful life!  She has a heart for Marriage Counseling and may YOU use it for Your Glory!  EM was a cashier at local grocery store and is starting Medical school on Monday.  She asked for prayer when she saw my Red T-shirt.  She gave me her work hours and I pray for an opportunity to go back and speak with her about having a “relationship” with YOU!

I was able to come home and have some cereal and then prayer time with YOU at dad’s table.  Thank YOU that I’m on day 22 of day 30, praying for REVIVAL!  I’m also on day 7 of day 30 reading through Jack Graham’s PRAYER Book…”Lord Hear Our Cry!”  FATHER GOD IN THE NAME OF JESUS, REVIVE YOUR CHURCH!  I PRAY as Your daughter that YOU would deliver us from ANYTHING that is keeping us from our Calling and Spiritual Gifting.  The enemy delights in our laziness, rebellion, disobedience and complacency.  He wants us distracted and coming to YOU in despair because of unanswered prayer or even worse, he wants us turning away from YOU because we “haven’t gotten what we’ve asked” for!  LORD, I REBUKE him IN YOUR NAME and BY YOUR BLOOD!  Give us a FIRE for YOU because YOU First LOVED US and Because You’re the ONLY Reason we even have life!  LORD take our idols and demolish them.  RENEW our minds and take all NEGATIVE Thinking CAPTIVE!  I PRAY for a NATIONAL Revival Across this land and I PRAY for a HOLY SPIRIT OUTPOURING in every area that satan would have no place go!  At every turn, he would be denied entry!  In the Matchless name of Jesus!  May it be so!  AMEN!

I PRAISE YOU and I Thank YOU for the sweet and precious fellowship with Tonya.  Thank You for the on-line bible.  Getting ready to finish Thessalonians.  And FATHER, thank YOU for this morning’s grace.  My prayer time was all over the place because each time I sent out my Barnabas text and it seemed every other person was saying, “It was exactly what they needed!”  LORD GOD this flesh is oftentimes selfish, but I will press forward only in the POWER OF YOUR Holy Spirit.  Each time, I don’t feel like it or decide to wait till later, YOU KEEP REMINDING ME THAT THIS LIFE IS NOT ABOUT ME!  “Do the work that I have assigned You Daughter.”  That’s what I hear and that’s what I’ll do.  ALL PRAISE AND GLORY TO YOU LORD GOD!  MY ROCK AND MY REDEEMER!  I LOVE YOU so much and I so can’t do this, but TOGETHER, WE CAN! I PRAY THAT YOU HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE!!! Yes and AMEN!!!

Laundromat PRAISE!

Today’s Adventure:  First let me say that my feet are mad at me.  I can usually walk for about 1.5 hours and lately…THE HOLY SPIRIT is stretching me and extending my territory!  So excited and so not limiting myself.  It’s still a bit “scary” to walk up to strangers.  People still don’t believe that I’m introverted…but IN CHRIST, I will march onward!  Lol
Last night dad asked if I was going prayer walking again today and when I said yes, he wanted to know for how long?  I said it’s up to the Lord!  I know whom I have BELIEVED IN and I listen to my Abba!  Then he asked which direction and I said left.  Each day I alternate, walking left one day and right the next.  It’s a main roadway with lots of people and bus tops!

First encounter was Ella.  She was hesitant and then she warmed up.  She is a believer but too busy at work right now for church.  I told her that God sent me all the way from Maryland to tell her that “HE misses her.”  She smiled, and I could tell that she was awakened in her Spirit.  I told her that she has the ability to influence others in the work place.  She’s a supervisor and shared some of my tips when I supervised.  I said those moments when your employee need “something,” lean into the Holy Spirit and HE will nudge you to share the gospel and the love of Christ.  I suggested until she can change her hours, she can start a prayer group and or bible study at home!  She was grateful.
Next was Maria.  She was at the next bus stop.  Thirty, married and a Christian.  I told her something similar.  I explained that she could reach out to young married couples and share how God is working in her marriage.  She’s also a young mom and working a lot.
I continued walking straight and the Holy Spirit told me to go into the laundry mat.  There was Joe, a man struggling with his identity.  I shared the Gospel with him.  He was hurt by the church and his parents.  No one was in the laundromat the entire time.  We talked for about 30 min.  NOTHING BUT GOD!  I held his hands and prayed and then I asked if I could hug him.  His eyes lit up.  FATHER GOD make Your PRESENCE Ever Present in Joe’s life as he revisit’s the bible.  Speak to him, reveal the TRUTH and completely TRANSFORM his life.  YOU Alone know his deepest need and his deepest pain.  USE if for GOOD LORD!
Next, I met a strong believer named Lawrence.  He said he needed to go for a walk because of something that happened with his finance’.  IT WAS INDEED A DEVINE Appointment.  I asked him if I could pray for him.  He shared some "stuff."  I could feel myself stepping aside and I could hear the Spirit speaking to him through me.  God told him to postpone the wedding, get Christian marital counseling and then see what the Lord reveals after that.  HE was so GRATEFUL.  He said, “Thank YOU Jesus, this was the best walk I ever took.”  Lol “NOTHING BUT GOD and surely not me…at all!”
So I’m headed down the street and I see a female construction worker.  Just glowing in the face and wearing a beautiful smile.  I saw her cross and asked if she was a believer.  She said, “I am a follower of the Lord Jesus Christ!”  I screamed with excitement, “Amen! Me too!”  I hugged her so tight!  She was so delighted!!! Her name was Mary Lee. Christ’s LIGHT was radiating from her being!
Next, I talked with Sabria.  She was a 25 and a beleiver.  She was baptized at 13.  We had a yummy talk and God poured some wisdom and encouragement into her.  FATHER GOD, I pray in advance for another opportunity to be used by YOU!  My feet are still mad, but I am willing to get up in the morning and do it again.  Oh HOW I WOULD LOVE TO SLEEP IN!  Lol…BUT GOD TO YOUR PRAISE and GLORY, If Your will awakens me, I’ll put my wants aside!  In Jesus’ name, amen!

Akron Praises...WOW GOD!!!

June 20, 2018! --------- What an AWESOME GOD we serve!
Today I headed out for my prayer walk…going over stuff in my head…”which way should I go today…feeling a few raindrops…should I go back for my umbrella…???”
First off, I never take my visa.  It was on the table last night and I felt the Spirit telling me to take it today.  I was actually having a conversation with HIM saying, I don’t want to buy anything to eat and I don’t want to carry any packages back on foot!  This flesh is something! Lol
And the journey begins.  I followed a 16 year girl to work and shared the gospel with her.  She and her grandmother attended Saint…something…I don’t remember, but they don’t use the bible and I could tell that she wasn’t really interested.  But HIS Word will not return void and we shall STOP and PRAISE HIM FOR THAT PROMISE!  Next, walking and reminding the Lord that I’m now headed back to dad’s and nothing yet…Lol
He led me Sean who was 20 and waiting at the bus stop.  He said he grew up in the church and he’s known God since he was little.  I shared the GOSPEL of Jesus Christ and asked him to pray about entering into a “relationship” with the Lord and making his own statement of FAITH!  We had a yummy talk and he was so appreciative!  GOD will do a work in his heart for sure!  And the best for last.  I saw “Leroy” a homeless man.  I asked if he wouldn’t mind sharing his story.  He did.  Sadly, lots of abuse in his youth.  I asked him if I could buy him a meal, (the reason GOD said to take my visa).  He was so delighted.  After coming back out … he was running across the street to meet me and get the food.  I smiled and said, “Let’s go back over where you were sitting, I’d like to talk to you about something.”  He agreed.  He allowed me to pray over our meal.  I started talking about my FAITH and asking if he knew the Lord.  He said no.  He did not believe in God.  I kinda knew that would be his response because of his past.  I shared God’s plan of salvation and I even told him that GOD is a God to the Fatherless and if he would be willing to take a step of FAITH…even asking GOD to reveal Himself to him, that GOD would do it.  LISTEN TO THIS:  DURING rush hour traffic…a truck is at the red light.  At this moment in TIME, HIS PERFECT TIMING…no other cars and no other people.  A gentle voice says from the drivers’s seat:  “Listen to her, she’s right!”  I looked over and the driver was listening.  I mean the guy didn’t even have to raise his voice or yell from the window!  He heard me and told Leroy “Listen she’s telling you the truth!  I cried and said, “GOD sent me here from North Beach, Md., to talk to you Leroy and Jeff just confirmed it.”  Leroy started to tear up.  He used his shirt to wipe his tears.  He did not make a decision, but he’s never going to forget that Denise told him about GOD being a Father and using Jeff, a complete stranger at the red light to confirm our conversation!  I told Leroy that I loved him and that I know deep down inside he has been longing for love and acceptance.  I told him I used to also.  I shared that the Lord will never stop pursing him!  HE thanked me, and I BELIEVE that the HOLY SPIRIT will exchange Leroy’s heart and give him a NEW one!
Talked with Maxine.  I was calling to tell her that I’d like to have coffee or tea when she is able.  She went on to say some things about waiting on the Lord still and that she thought I’d be the WORD for her this past Sunday.  I reminded her of some of what I shared and prayed over her in the ACME but because of the noise, she was probably a little distracted.  I told her that there was a long period of silence from Malachi to Matthew…that the Israelites waiting much longer that she did and that King David was called in his youth but did not get the crown until 13 years or so later and not to mention how long Joseph was in jail….we were having church right there on the cell phone…NOTHING BUT THE HOLY SPIRIT!
Then my newest little sweet, firecracker brother Steven called.  He’d called by mistake, but we had fellowship.  OH Yes we did.  He was doing God’s work and missed his bus.  After speaking with the lady and her daughter that God put in his path about being aware of false preachers and teachers, the lady gave him a ride!  GOD YOU REIGN!  Give Steven favor in his interview and I pray even now, that Kelly’s hearing went in her favor from yesterday’s meeting.  YOU ARE GOOD even when we cannot see good in the moment.  Thank YOU for being with Alex last night when I was unable.  Thank You for the MSG Version!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 19, 2018! -------------WOW AGAIN GOD! I rolled out of bed so ready for my prayer walk.  It looked like it had stopped raining so off I go downstairs and out the door.  It was still raining.  So (I decided) I would walk the halls instead.  My dad’s building is a High-rise with 13 flights and in the winter, I walk inside.  The HOLY SPIRIT said, “get your umbrella."  I listened and began walking…looking for God moments!  I saw this girl…those men…that girl…and then stopped at McDonald’s (to powder my nose…lol) and when I came out, the Holy Spirit said, “That one over there, at the bus stop.  I listened and walked in her direction.  LONG Story short…she was sad-face and looked discouraged.  I introduced myself and shared a bit of my story and told her about the LOVE, GRACE and FORGIVENESS of the Lord Jesus Christ.  Her eyes were so tender and ears so attentive.  I asked her had she ever hear anything of “this before.”  She nodded, no.  She was 21 and I said, “When I was your age, I wished someone had told me about the Gospel of Jesus Christ!”  I asked her she wanted to know HIM and become HIS.  She said, “Yes.” I asked if we could sit for a moment and if she’d be willing to confess her sins and acknowledge that He died for them.  She did.  And afterwards, we prayed, and she received Him!  CHURCH I wish you could have seen the look on her face when I first walked up to her compared to the THE GLOW that was instantaneous upon RECEIVEING Him!  I saw it with my own eyes.  I said, “You can’t see it but you’re glowing.”  She said, “I feel different!  I told her, it’s just the beginning! We talked for a few more moments and hugged goodbye just as the BUS ARRIVED! J  Look at God’s Perfect Timing!
TO GOD BE THE GLORY!  THANK You JESUS for Julia’s response.  She was looking for YOU and didn’t know it!  FATHER GOD, cultivate a relationship with her and as she opens the bible, may Your Holy Spirit give her wisdom and understating, growing her in the knowledge of YOUR Character!  In Jesus’ name, amen!
Also met Rosemary and Ron waiting on the bus!  They know YOU Lord.  Rosemary used to sing in the church choir.  I asked her to sing and she didn’t feel comfortable, so I asked her favorite song.  She said, "OUR GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD" and Ron started singing it.  We had sweet fellowship, right there at the bus stop.  Later, I ran into James and Jaime.  They are looking to get a place together.  LORD YOUR WILL.  Jaime had one testimony after another about YOUR GOODNESS and MERCY in her life!  We prayed right there on the sidewalk opposite the library!
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 18, 2018! Prayer walk!!! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW
Fellowship with Chet first thing!  Prayed for Roberta.  She had on a McDonald’s uniform and had just dropped something in the mailbox.  I waited for her.  She is a Christian and there was a shooting in her neighborhood last night.  No one was hurt, but she asked for prayer!
I then wanted to wash my hands and potty.  DEVINE APPOINTMENT, AGAIN!  Kelly, a woman that I did not know, called out to me and asked if I walk everyday…GOSPEL Opportunity….I told her I was doing a prayer walk and she said, “What’s that?!”  I asked if she had prayer or I think she asked if I could pray for her.  I asked her to pull into the parking space because “I knew it would not be brief.”  LOL
NOTHING BUT YOU LORD!  Earlier, Chet gave me a bracelet with crosses going all around it.  He told me to pass it forward.  He said, “Maybe your new friend.  The Spirit will tell you who.”  God YOU know I can still be #selfish.  I wanted to keep it and wear it for a while.  THE SPIRIT told me to give it to Kelly.  I laughed because I didn’t even get to wear it back to the apt.  Lol
NOTHING BUT GOD.  Left at 0730 and returned home at 1100.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
June 16, 2018… … …NOTHING BUT A YUMMY DAY! Yesterday’s AMAZING GRACE!  I just absolutely love the LORD!  He is so attentive and I’m leaning in…

I was so proud of “myself” for driving up until 3pm without eating and pigging out on the road! Lo…but then I kinda, sorta got hungry.  Decision, decisions, decisions!  Convenience store with unbelievably healthy choices…nope!  Quizno’s…nope!  Panera…nope!  Now…Chick-fil-a or Wendy’s…..I don’t need another milkshake…I do but I don’t.  Lol…so Wendy’s it is.  OH YES THE LORD ANSERWED MY PRAYERS CONCERNING DIVINE APPOINTMENTS AND THANK YOU FOR THOSE WHO PRAYED THE SAME!!!

I walked out of the restroom and two young employees were changing the trash bags.  One asked if he could ask me a question about “defending yourself.”  I said, “If I answer your question, will you answer mine?”  We agreed.  After talking about the working relationship with his coworkers…I asked him about his relationship with the Lord.  He shared some sad news regarding members of his family....  I leaned in listening and extending condolences and compassion.  I walked with him out to the trash dumpster and gently told Him about God’s grace and mercy.  He asked if he would have to stop smoking weed if he became a Christian?  I told him how I used to drink and then by the Power of the Holy Spirit, lost the desire.  His coworker was leaning and listening.  I told them about the possibility of not seeing the end of this day if they were to get off work and by unfortunate circumstances, get hit by a truck! “Would you go to heaven?”  Neither knew and I began to share the gospel.  We continued to talk, walking back into Wendy’s.
THERE were NO customers and I continued talking with them and they continued listening and so did their coworkers, Brittney and Julia.  I told them that the Lord sent me from North Beach, Md., to tell them about His plan of Salvation.  I shared some of the mistakes I made at their age and how HIS Grace Saved me and forgave me.  The two girls were believers, but one was estranged from God and said she needed to come back to him.  The other was tearing up…Abraham was still questioning me and lo’ and behold, in walks Steven.  His wife was in the eating area and overheard me talking and told him that I was a Christian.  He walked up and joined the conversation.  He is a 19-year-old ON FIRE FOR THE LORD!  He used to smoke weed all the time and his mom kept interceding for his life.  He gave his life to Jesus last year and God convicted him.  He stopped smoking and married his girlfriend.
IT was absolutely the HAND of God all over our uninterrupted time together.  We talked and talked and prayed and it was all consuming, ALL about the LORD!  I was off the grid for over 3 hours and had no idea.  My dad texted looking for me. LOL… END result, Tiriq hugged and thanked me.  I pray for Abraham's soul. I pray that Brittney will return to the Lord, she’s 20.  I pray that Steven will keep his fervor.  He went to a church and the Holy Spirit in him could not be contained and the church was telling him indirectly to tone it down.  He was discouraged.  He and his wife are sweet aromas of Christ in need of strong Christians to come alongside them.  MAY THESES SEEDS BARE FRUIT FOR Your Kingdom and may HIS SPIRIT do only what HE can!  TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!! LORD continue in Your will to set aside my flesh and GLORIFY Your Son!  In Jesus name!
